THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
IT MAY NOT BE GOOD NOW, BUT GOD KNOWS HOW TO BRING IT ALL TOGETHER
We observe GOOD FRIDAY annually, yet on the day Jesus was crucified, his disciples deemed it the WORST day ever. They would have called it “TRAGIC Friday.” The one they had dedicated their LIVES to was deceased and ENGOMBED. However, when Jesus RESURRECTED, they understood he was exactly who he CLAIMED to be. He had CONQUERED the adversary and delivered SALVATION to humanity. What they perceived as the WORST day turned out to be the BEST.
We all experience moments when DREAMS shatter, relationships DISSOLVE, or ILLNESS strikes—NOTHING seems positive. It might not be good NOW, but God can weave it into a GREATER plan. You may BELIEVE it will hinder you, regress you, and bring sorrow. Yet, if you maintain FAITH, you might one day reflect and RECOGNIZE that it was GOOD.
Today’s Scripture:
…with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among [the disciples] and said, “Peace be with you!”
John 20:19, NIV
