THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
TODAY, PRAY FOR GUIDANCE ON HOW TO BETTER LOVE OTHERS. IT’S A CHOICE
We all encounter people who can be CHALLENGING at times, whether it’s a COLLEAGUE, a FAMILY member, or a SPOUSE. The Bible clearly DEFINES love in 1 Corinthians 13, describing it as PATIENT and KIND, not SELF-seeking, NOT keeping a record of wrongs, and never FAILING. This passage doesn’t focus on FEELINGS but on love as a deliberate CHOICE. You can CHOOSE to be patient and kind, even when you don’t FEEL like it. You can choose to treat someone WELL, even if they don’t seem to DESERVE it. You can decide to OVERLOOK an offense. Remember, the Holy Spirit is there to ASSIST us; we’re not MEANT to do this on our own. Pray for GUIDANCE on how to BETTER LOVE OTHERS today.
Today’s Scripture:
“Love never fails…”
