THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GRAB HOLD OF THE PROMISE OF GOD AND DON’T LET GO

Has God spoken things to your heart that haven’t come to pass yet? Anytime you step out to BELIEVE God, the enemy will try to distract and discourage you in order to get you off course. But when you HOLD that promise in your heart, when you PICTURE it in your mind and DECLARE it with your words, you begin to feel more CONFIDENT. You feel EMPOWERED and SETTLED in your heart. You begin to have JOY and PEACE because you know God is working behind the scenes on your behalf.

Today, grab hold of the PROMISE of God and don’t let go! SEE it in your mind’s eye. Can you SEE yourself HEALED? Can you SEE yourself paying off that last debt? Can you SEE yourself at your ideal WEIGHT? Can you SEE yourself sharing the gospel with a family member or coworker? ASK the Lord to give you a VISION for your future. BELIEVE, SEE and RECIEVE every BLESSING that He has in store for you!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND ‘TAKE YOUR SEAT’…..

The Old Testament priests had to go into the temple over and OVER again to make SACRIFICES for the people’s sins. There were no seats in the temple for them to sit down because ANOTHER sacrifice was always required. But when Jesus was crucified, He said, “It is FINISHED,” meaning the old way of having to constantly offer sacrifices for forgiveness. His sitting down at God’s right hand is a picture of perfect REST. The apostle Paul tells the beauty of it: “We are SEATED with Christ in heavenly places.”

There is a seat of rest that belongs to YOU. You don’t have to go through life constantly trying to make up for past MISTAKES or being upset about your PROBLEMS. Do yourself a favor and TAKE YOUR SEAT. Enter into that PEACE and REST. When you sit down, God will stand up and go to WORK. That’s why He says, “Be still, and KNOW that I am God.”

TODAY, STOP TRYING TO CHANGE THINGS THAT ONLY GOD CAN CHANGE

It’s easy to live frustrated because somebody is not doing what WE want, discouraged because of a disappointment, upset because our dreams haven’t come to pass. But God doesn’t remove EVERY frustration. He doesn’t change every PERSON we don’t like, or take away everything that’s BOTHERING us. When He says, “Be still and know that I am God,” this implies that if we’re NOT still, if we’re upset, frustrated, and WORRIED, we’re not GOING to know that He is God. Most of the time when we’re frustrated, we’re trying to change things that only GOD can change. We’re trying to BE God and fix things over which we have no CONTROL. You can’t MAKE people do what’s right or make yourself get WELL. If YOU’RE trying to control EVERYTHING, you’re going to be FRUSTRATED. Do what you CAN, then turn it over to God, and let HIM take care of the rest. Stay at peace, knowing He IS in control.

TODAY I DECLARE THAT YOU, ARE GOING TO SEE GOD’S FAVOR IN A GREATER WAY…..

Do you ever feel like you’ve “lost your FIRE or enthusiasm?” We all have times when we feel overwhelmed by the pressures of life, but that’s when we need to STIR UP what God has placed on the INSIDE of us. Remember, there are no disadvantages with our God. You have everything you need to succeed. No weapon formed against you is EVER going to prosper; you just have to stir up the GIFT inside. How do you stir it up? By speaking God’s TRUTH and MEDITATING on His word.

Start right now by simply DECLARING today, “I am going to see God’s favor in a GREATER way. NEW doors are going to begin to open for me. Supernatural OPPORTUNITIES are coming my way. God is setting up divine CONNECTIONS for me. I’m always at the right PLACE at the right TIME. I am going to overcome EVERY obstacle and defeat EVERY enemy. I’m going to see every DREAM, every DESIRE that God has placed in my heart come to pass in Jesus’ name!” Amen!?!

GOD LOVES YOU TOO MUCH TO LEAVE YOU WHERE YOU ARE

Does there seem to be a problem waiting for you no matter where you turn? Do you sometimes wonder if your dreams are EVER going to come to pass? Maybe you’ve asked why God would allow you to struggle in your JOB, your RELATIONSHIPS, your HEALTH or some OTHER area of life. Sometimes God allows us to go through CHALLENGES because He knows it’s the STRUGGLE of life that builds STRENGTH in us. If God simply delivered us from EVERY struggle, then we might not continue to grow and learn to TRUST Him. When you stretch your FAITH, ENDURE, OVERCOME and PERSEVERE through the DIFFICULT times, you’ll begin to realize a greater level of JOY, PEACE, VICTORY and ABUNDANCE than you ever dreamed possible. Remember, God loves you TOO MUCH to leave you where you are. He’s PREPARING you for something BETTER!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

THE WAY WE TREAT OTHERS, IS THE WAY WE TREAT GOD

Did you know that the way you treat people has an impact on the effectiveness of your prayers? The Bible says that the prayer of the righteous person is POWERFUL, but if we aren’t treating others with HONOR, KINDNESS and RESPECT, then we aren’t allowing His righteousness to OPERATE in us. When we don’t treat others the way we SHOULD, it closes the door to God’s power and HINDERS our prayers.

This is especially true in a marriage relationship. Marriage isn’t just an agreement between two people to live life together. Marriage is a God-ordained INSTITUTION that helps us understand LOVE and UNITY. When two people are married, they become one PHYSICALLY, SPIRITUALLY and EMOTIONALLY. This particular passage is directed toward husbands, but it applies to ALL believers as well. We should all treat others “with UNDERSTANDING” which means considering the NEEDS of others ABOVE our own. We should always aim to treat others with KINDNESS, DIGNITY and RESPECT and quickly choose FORGIVENESS. The Bible says that the way we treat OTHERS is the way we treat God, so choose LOVE and treat others with RESPECT so that your prayers can be POWERFUL and EFFECTIVE the way God promises!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

KEEP PLANTING SEEDS OF FAITH AND DECLARING WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT YOU IN HIS WORD

Have you ever looked at a large, old tree and wondered how long it has been there? The thing to remember when you see a tree like this is that at one time, it was merely a little SEED. Just like a mighty oak tree, if you want to grow tall and strong in your FAITH, you must plant the good seeds of FAITH in your THOUGHT life through your WORDS and water them by MEDITATING on them so that you may reap a great HARVEST!

Farmers may get discouraged sometimes, but they know that if they want good results, they must keep planting and watering the good SEEDS. Day after day, even when nothing is happening at the SURFACE, the farmer keeps taking care of those seeds because he knows it’s only a matter of TIME until the harvest. This is true of you as WELL. Keep planting the seeds of FAITH and DECLARING what GOD says about you in His WORD, and you’ll see GROWTH and an ABUNDANT harvest.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

IT’S NOT ABOUT WHERE YOU START, IT’S ABOUT HOW YOU FINISH

There’s nothing more ENCOURAGING than to discover your PURPOSE and to walk in it! Don’t let the enemy convince you that you’ve been forgotten or left out. You were NOT made to sit on the sidelines. You have a DESTINY to fulfill!

God has entrusted everyone with different GIFTS and TALENTS. That means you ALREADY have the ABILITY, the CREATIVITY, the IDEAS you need to FLOURISH in what He has called you to do. There is something important that only YOU can accomplish for God.

Many heroes of the Bible had humble beginnings and were overlooked. David was the youngest of many sons, yet he was destined to become KING. Moses had a SPEECH impediment, but God chose him to deliver a NATION. It’s not about where you start, it’s about how you FINISH. Be bold enough to FOLLOW your God-given purpose and fulfill the DESTINY He has for YOU!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

THERE’S NOTHING TOO BIG OR TOO SMALL FOR OUR GOD

It’s easy for us to let our EMOTIONS control our decisions. Sometimes choosing the RIGHT thing doesn’t COME naturally. The GOOD news is, you don’t have to do it ALONE. The Bible says that the forces that are FOR you are greater than the forces that are AGAINST you. God can give us the COURAGE we need to do the RIGHT thing! Because we are new CREATIONS in Christ, the chains of defeated thinking and a negative mentality don’t have a hold on us ANYMORE. You can choose what you WATCH, the things you SAY, and even the PEOPLE you associate with. So often, we think God is too busy to help us with our day-to-day decisions. But you are the apple of God’s EYE. There’s NOTHING too big or too SMALL for our God to handle. Ask God today to give you the WISDOM and GUIDANCE to make the RIGHT decisions.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

CHANGE YOUR FOCUS FROM HOW BIG YOUR PROBLEMS ARE TO HOW BIG YOUR GOD IS

There are three simple things you can do EACH day that will breathe new life into EVERYTHING you do. First, speak words of FAITH and VICTORY out loud. As a child of the Most High God, you should have a BOLDNESS when you declare, “I CAN do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me! My path is getting brighter and BRIGHTER.” Next, take time to write down the GOOD things that God does for you each day. When you begin to LOOK for His goodness, you will quickly DISCOVER that He IS working in your life. Finally, be THANKFUL. Take a moment every day to THANK the Lord for all He has done for you. When you develop a THANKFUL heart, you are changing your FOCUS from how big your problems are, to how big your GOD is!
