THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

IT’S TIME FOR YOU TO GET READY AND GET YOUR FIRE BACK

Have you been struggling in an area of your life for quite some time? God has PROMISED He will go before you and prepare a path for you; He’ll make your crooked places STRAIGHT. He wants to smooth things out for you. I believe that as you continue to commit your ways to Him, He will bring you into a season where things are going to start falling into place. You’re going to get breaks that you didn’t DESERVE. The promises that you’ve been STANDING on, you’re going to see them begin to come to pass. It’s time for you to get ready and get your FIRE BACK!

Start EXPECTING that you are coming into a new season. Maybe it’s in your FINANCES. Maybe you’ve struggled for a long time. Begin to declare that you’re going to see supernatural INCREASE, supernatural OPPORTUNITIES, supernatural PROMOTION. Remember, the economy is NOT your source—GOD is. He’s the One who opens doors that NO person can shut. Keep STANDING, keep BELIEVING because God IS going to make your crooked places straight and lead you down the path of BLESSING and VICTORY in EVERY area of your life!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

KEEP YOUR FOCUS ON WHAT GOD HAS CALLED YOU TO DO

When most people hear that word “MEEK,” they think of a weak, shy, reserved or timid person who lets everybody run all over them. But that’s not at ALL what it means to be meek. Meekness is NOT weakness; it’s STRENGTH under control. Meekness is like a wild horse that has been tamed. He’s just as STRONG, just as POWERFUL, has just as much SPEED as before; but now that strength is under CONTROL. You can walk up to that horse, pet him, lead him around, and ride him. But don’t be fooled. He has the same POWER and TENACITY as before; he’s just learned how to CONTROL it.

When you’re a meek PERSON, you don’t HAVE to go around trying to straighten everybody out. You don’t respond to every critic. People may be talking about you, but you don’t let it bother you. You may have the POWER to do something about it, but you realize your TIME is too VALUABLE. You don’t fall for every distraction. Instead, you keep your FOCUS on what GOD has called you to do. You keep your STRENGTH and POWER under CONTROL so that you choose to stay in PEACE and move forward in the VICTORY the Lord has in store for you.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD HAS A REWARD IN PLACE FOR YOU AND ME AND IT’S JUST WAITING TO BE RELEASED

Have you ever thought about the fact that a REWARD is put into place before anyone ever claims it? Right now, there are rewards for certain fugitives on the loose. That money is already in a fund just waiting for someone to step up and claim it. All a person has to do is find the fugitive, and the money will be released. In the same way, GOD has a reward that has already been set in place for you and me, TOO. It’s just waiting to be RELEASED. But, there are CONDITIONS to that reward as well. God says, “If you will just SEEK ME, I will give you the reward. If you will just make an effort to PLEASE ME, if you will just get up in the morning and THANK ME, if you will just read the SCRIPTURE, I’ll pour out My BLESSING.” You may not understand it all, but God says, “That’s okay. I will give you the reward because your HEART is in the right place, and you are making the EFFORT.

Today, there is nothing more important than seeking God in ALL your ways. When you go about your day, keep Him on your mind. TALK to Him and ask for His DIRECTION. Seek Him because you WILL FIND Him and find PEACE, ABUNDANCE, JOY and VICTORY all the days of your life!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

STAY IN FAITH AND GOD WILL ALWAYS COMPLETE WHAT HE STARTED IN YOU

As we celebrate the resurrection of Christ this Easter season, I think about when they crucified Jesus. On that Friday, it was the darkest, most painful, discouraging day of His life. In fact, it was so bad that He sweat drops of blood earlier. It looked as if His enemies had gotten the best of Him. But, God had other plans. They put Him in the grave on Friday, celebrating their victory, but Sunday morning was a different story. The grave could not hold Him. Death couldn’t contain Him! The forces of darkness couldn’t stop Him! On the third day, He came out of the grave and said, “I was dead, but now I am alive forevermore!”

One PRINCIPLE that the resurrection teaches us is that God will ALWAYS finish what He started. No matter how dark it LOOKS, no matter how LONG it’s been, no matter how many people are trying to push you DOWN, if you will stay in FAITH, God will ALWAYS take you from Friday to Sunday. He will always COMPLETE what He started in you!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

HE WHOM THE SON SETS FREE IS FREE INDEED

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit makes His home INSIDE of you. That’s God Himself, the same Spirit with the same POWER that raised Jesus from the dead! His RESURRECTION power can bring back HEALTH, STRENGTH and LIFE to your physical body. He can restore HOPE and breathe life into your DREAMS. In fact, He can resurrect ANY area that may seem dormant on the inside of you!

The next time you feel overwhelmed by sickness, challenges or despair, remember, the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in YOU through Christ Jesus. You may have been burdened by an addiction, fear or worry, but there’s NOTHING that can stand against the POWER of God. Rise up and declare by FAITH, “He whom the Son sets free is free INDEED. I am RESTORED and HEALED in the name of JESUS! NO weapon formed against me can prosper!” Receive His TRUTH, declare the WORD, and ACTIVATE HIS POWER within you!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

AS BELIEVERS WE KNOW WITH GOD, WE ARE ON THE WINNING TEAM

Can you get a picture of God laughing in the heavens? Right now, God is on the throne. He’s not mad. He’s not worried about the economy. He’s not upset with you and me. What’s He doing? God is full of JOY and laughing on the throne. It goes on to tell us in Psalm 37 that He’s laughing because “He can see the destruction of the enemy coming.” In other words, the reason God laughs is because He knows the end of the story. He knows the final outcome. The good news is that you and I WIN. God ALWAYS causes US to triumph.

Imagine you’re watching the Super Bowl, but you already know the outcome. You already know who is going to win. No matter how far behind the winning team falls, no matter how bad it LOOKS for them, you wouldn’t get upset. You wouldn’t be worried. Why? You’ve got inside INFORMATION. You know the final OUTCOME. That’s what GOD is saying to us today. When it gets tough and things don’t LOOK like they’re going to work out, we know with GOD, we are on the WINNING team! YOU can laugh with Him today knowing that He has FAVOR, STRENGTH and VICTORY for you in EVERY area of your life!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD IS WORKING BEHIND THE SCENES AND YOUR BREAKTHROUGH IS COMING, SUDDENLY

All through the Bible, we have examples of how God SUDDENLY showed Himself STRONG on behalf of His people. But sometimes when we’ve struggled for a long time, it’s easy to just give up. One of the enemy’s greatest lies is to tell you that nothing is ever going to change. He’ll tell you that you’re never going to get well, that your marriage isn’t going to work out, that you’re never going to break that addiction. But I want to tell you today, it doesn’t MATTER how long you’ve been in those circumstances, God can change things in an INSTANT! In a split second of time, He can turn it ALL around. One TOUCH of God’s power can HEAL your body. One touch of His favor can PROMOTE you. One touch of His goodness can SOLVE that problem. Just one touch from Almighty God can INSTANTLY change your LIFE.

I encourage you today to keep BELIEVING, keep STANDING and keep HOPING. Don’t let the enemy drag your thoughts down because God is working BEHIND the scenes. Your time IS coming, and I declare that your BREAKTHROUGH IS going to happen SUDDENLY—in an INSTANT!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

VICTORY IS ON THE WAY AND IT’S CLOSER THAN YOU THINK

Are you facing a difficulty or trial that seems like it’s been lasting a long time? Today’s verse tells us that our trials are really only MOMENTARY. Compared with eternity, our troubles don’t last long at all! As you stand strong in FAITH during times of adversity, you are building faith and achieving eternal GLORY.

If you are in the middle of tough times today, LOOK to God. The Bible says that He is the Author and FINISHER of your faith. He is the One who writes faith on your heart and then develops it to COMPLETION on the inside of you. He is building STRENGTH in you; He is depositing JOY in you, and He is EMPOWERING you to make it through.

Today, be ENCOURAGED because what you are facing is only TEMPORARY. VICTORY is on the way, and it’s CLOSER than you think! Keep STANDING, keep BELIEVING, keep HOPING and keep CONFESSING His WORD because He is FAITHFUL, and He WILL complete what He’s started in you!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

YOU ARE EMPOWERED TO FULFILL YOUR DESTINY

Whether you realize it or not, God has ALREADY given you everything you need to live the life He’s called you to. You don’t need to feel stressed out, worried or afraid. You don’t have to wonder if you’re “good enough” to receive from God because God’s blessing has NOTHING to do with your performance. He has already BLESSED you and given you EVERYTHING you need by His divine power!

The world’s system tells us to strive, toil and scrape to get what we want. Our culture puts limits on people because of their natural abilities, resources, background or circumstances. But with God, there are NO limits! By His divine power, you are EQUIPPED, well ABLE and STRONG. You are covered by His GRACE and MERCY, and you are EMPOWERED to do ALL He has called you to do!

The next time you start thinking “I can’t…” or “I don’t have what it takes…,” attack those negative thoughts with the TRUTH by declaring, “I HAVE what it takes; I AM well able; and I am EQUIPPED by His divine power at work IN me!”

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD PROMISES TO GIVE YOU THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART

It PLEASES God to give you the desires of your heart! He wants to see you HAPPY, WHOLE, STRONG and ENJOYING His blessing. When you make the Word of God your number one PRIORITY, when you stay connected to Him through PRAYER and WORSHIP, God PROMISES that He will give you the desires of your heart.

Psalm 37:4 tells us again that if we DELIGHT ourselves in HIM, He will give us the DESIRES of our hearts. One of the root definitions of the word “delight” means “SOFT.” This gives the picture of us being soft and MOLD-ABLE, like clay, in the Potter’s hands. As we allow Him to shape and mold our CHARACTER, as we YEILD ourselves to Him, our thoughts become HIS thoughts, our WORDS become HIS Words, and our desires become His DESIRES.

Today, don’t allow the distractions of everyday life keep you from spending TIME with Him. ABIDE in Him and let His Words abide in YOU because HE will give you the desires of your HEART!
