YOUR FOCUS DETERMINES YOUR REALITY. FOCUS ON THE GOODNESS OF GOD

During a challenging period, David declared in today’s verse that DESPITE the difficulties, he remained INWORRIED and CONFIDENT in witnessing God’s GOODNESS. He believed that NO hardship could take away his VISION or deter him from his DREAMS, trusting that he would experience God’s FAVOR in new ways within the YEAR.

This should be OUR mindset today because our FOCUS determines our REALITY. Regardless of what the medical report, financial situation, or state of any relationship might INDICATE, remain CONFIDENT in seeing God’s GOODNESS. He is the OMNIPOTENT, OMNISCIENT Creator of the UNIVERSE, holding us in His HAND, and NOTHING is too hard for Him. Embrace this truth with FAITH, concentrate on His GOODNESS, and let His PEACE fill your heart and mind as you live under His blessings EVERY day.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

TODAY, DO WHAT GOD HAS PLACED IN YOUR HEART AND PUT ACTION BEHIND YOUR FAITH

In the Scriptures, there is an account of ten lepers who encountered Jesus. They called out, “Jesus, have mercy on us and HEAL us!” Jesus had the POWER to heal them immediately, but instead, He CHALLANGED them to demonstrate their FAITH. He instructed, “Go and show yourselves to the Priest, and as you do, you will be HEALED.”

Interestingly, these lepers were societal outcasts, required to live separately due to their contagious condition. They likely questioned the WISDOM of Jesus’ command, wondering, “Should we really GO? We don’t LOOK any different. It might just be a waste of TIME.” Yet, they chose to ACT on their faith. They resolved, “If Jesus says we’ll be healed by GOING, then let’s TRUST and TAKE that step.” And the Scriptures affirm, “As they went on their way, they WERE healed.”

Consider what God is prompting YOU to do today. EMBRACE that step of FAITH and put your belief into ACTION.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

LOOK FOR WAYS TO GIVE, AND GIVE GENEROUSLY

Did you know that when you give to others in need, the Bible says it’s like giving directly to God Himself? When you step out and bless OTHER people, you are HONORING and BLESSING the LORD. The scripture tells us to give our BEST, to give GENEROUSLY. In other words, STRETCH yourself. Go out of your way. It may be uncomfortable to walk over and pay for someone’s gas, but that’s being GENEROUS.

I encourage YOU today, LOOK for ways to give generously and meet the needs of others. Remember, people have many different TYPES of needs. There may be someone who needs some ENCOURAGEMENT. Give GENEROUSLY when you give that encouragement. There may be someone in your life that just needs a FRIEND; they need some quality TIME. Give GENEROUSLY of your time and POUR into that person. As you give GENEROUSLY to OTHERS, God will multiply those seeds in YOUR own life in return!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

PRAISE GOD NOW, BECAUSE VICTORY IS ON THE WAY

God promises to always guide us to VICTORY. This means that regardless of the challenges you face, the events happening AROUND you, or what OTHERS may say, you should continually give THANKS to God because VICTORY is forthcoming.

You don’t need to wait for perfection to start CELEBRATING what God will do in your life. Take ACTION on your faith. Amid adversity or difficult times, begin to plan your victory CELEBRATION. If you’re in the hospital, plan for the ACTIVITIES you’ll do once discharged. If you’ve lost money in a market downturn, start organizing your DEBT-FREE celebration. When circumstances seem unfavorable, remember that we serve a SUPERNATURAL God. With God leading you to VICTORY, you can confidently prepare for INCREASE, RESTORATION, and a COMEBACK that will leave you stronger and BETTER than EVER before.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHEN YOU’RE CONTENT, YOU SEE EACH DAY AS A GIFT

God has established SEASONS and CYCLES in our lives. At times, when our dreams don’t materialize on OUR schedule, we may feel inclined to frustration. However, it’s crucial not to let our ATTITUDE hinder our progress. In God’s domain, not every season is for harvesting. Not every season is spring, filled with blooming flowers, radiant sunshine, and gentle breezes. There are seasons for PLOWING, PLANTING, and WATERING. While we might wish for constant growth, the other seasons are necessary to prepare us for PROMOTION. It’s important to find joy TODAY. God has bestowed upon you the GRACE not just to endure this season but to ENJOY it. Being CONTENT means viewing each day as a GIFT, valuing the PEOPLE around you, and being thankful for what God has PROVIDED. This not only cultivates your CHARACTER but also signifies passing the TEST. You will THEN transition from winter into your SPRINGTIME.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

COURAGE AND CONFIDENCE DO NOT ORIGINATE FROM THE WORLD, THEY ARE GIFTS FROM ALMIGHT GOD

In times of trials and tribulations, as children of GOD, we are called to embrace COURAGE; we can stand CONFIDENT and experience perfect PEACE. Why? Perfect peace, courage, and confidence do not ORIGINATE from the world; they are GIFTS that stem from a relationship with Almighty God. In CHALLENGING times, we can cling to HOPE because God has assured us of SUCCESS. By maintaining FAITH and placing our trust in God, VICTORY remains within our grasp.

Regardless of today’s challenges, remember that faith is PLEASING to God and it unlocks the doors to His supernatural FAVOR, strength, and WISDOM. Do not CONCEDE to defeat, for you are designed for SUCCESS. Opt to express GRATITUDE for His work in your life and the impending VICTORY. Stand STRONG, be BOLD, and seize COURAGE today, for God has ALREADY triumphed over the world.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WE CAN’T CONTROL THE ACTIONS OR WORDS OF OTHERS, ONLY OUR RECATIONS TO THEM

Holding onto grudges and living with unforgiveness, anger, bitterness, jealousy, and guilt consumes a significant amount of emotional ENERGY. We have a limited SUPPLY of energy each day, and if we spend it on NEGATIVE emotions, dwelling on those who have WRONGED us, we won’t have the necessary energy for POSITIVE pursuits. This not only hinders our ability to make sound DECISIONS and be CREATIVE but also does a disservice to OURSELVES, our families, and our FRIENDS. It’s important to remember that we can’t control the actions or words of OTHERS, only our REACTIONS. Allowing others to disturb our PEACE means surrendering our POWER. Scripture advises NOT to let anger persist through the night, as unresolved anger and unforgiveness can sap one’s JOY and ENTHUSIASM. Going to bed with such feelings means waking UP with them, TOO. To prevent anger and unforgiveness from obstructing the BLESSINGS meant for us, we must choose to RELEASE these burdens and embrace the PEACE, JOY, and STRENGTH that is INTENDED for us.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHERE THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD RESIDES, THERE IS FREEDOM

When you accept JESUS as the Lord of your life, a supernatural TRANSFORMATION occurs WITHIN you. The Spirit of God takes residence in your HEART. The Bible states that where the Spirit of the Lord resides, there is FREEDOM. Embracing this truth, aligning with God, and proclaiming your FREEDOM can lead to its manifestation in ALL aspects of your life. God will start to change SITUATIONS you’ve prayed over for years. He’ll mend RELATIONSHIPS you believed were BEYOND repair. He’ll restore HEALTH and WHOLENESS to your body. The DREAMS and PROMISES within you, no matter how GRAND, are attainable; God will LIBERATE you to CHASE those dreams. He’ll prepare you to surmount every HURDLE. He’ll FORTIFY you to conquer every ADVERSARY, enabling you to advance in FREEDOM and TRIUMPH in EVERY facet of your life.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD IS READY TO BLESS YOU IN WAYS YOU CANNOT EVEN ANTICIPATE TODAY

Our God REWARDS those who diligently SEEK Him. When you PRIORITIZE God and strive to HONOR Him, Scripture declares that His blessings will pursue and SURPASS you. This signifies that you will receive INCREASE, PROMOTION, and FORTUNATE opportunities that you may not have EARNED. This is God’s way of rewarding those who follow HIS path.

In the Old Testament, we observe this with Ruth. She followed the harvesters in the fields, collecting the wheat they OVERLOOKED. She aimed to provide for her mother-in-law, Naomi, and they were JUST getting by. Then, the field owner instructed his workers to INTENTIONALLY leave wheat for Ruth. She received BLESSINGS that were EFFORTLESSLY placed before her.

We can ALL recall moments when God has intentionally left US blessings—favors we didn’t MERIT or REQUEST. We simply DISCOVERED them. This is what I call a “Handful on PURPOSE.” Stay EXPECTANT. Continue to TRUST in God and HEED His guidance, for He is prepared to BLESS you in ways you cannot ANTICIPATE today.

AS YOU GIVE TO OTHERS, GOD WILL ENSURE YOU AR ALSO REPLENISHED

God has a unique ASSIGNMENT for you that no one else can fulfill. You are His ambassador, a REPRESENTATIVE of His divine PLAN. You possess unique GIFTS—your smile, your love, your passion—that no one else can OFFER. It’s EASY to become preoccupied with our OWN needs in this material world, but have you considered that YOU are equipped to be someone ELSE’S miracle? Each day presents opportunities to demonstrate God’s LOVE and COMPASSION to others. WE can address their needs, provide HEALING, and offer HOPE and ENCOURAGEMENT. Daily, we have the chance to plant seeds of GOODNESS in the lives of others, seeds that will yield an ETERNAL harvest. Seek ways to BLESS someone else today. As you give to OTHERS, God will ensure YOU are also replenished. Together, let’s strive to GLORIFY Him and expand His kingdom on EARTH.
