ALLOW GOD TO TAKE THE LEAD…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHEN YOU ALLOW GOD TO TAKE THE LEAD, HE WILL ALWAYS GUIDE YOU TO VICTORY

The steps of a RIGHTEOUS man are directed by the LORD. It may be hard for many to consider themselves “good” in God’s view, yet in the original Greek, this term translates to “STRONG,” akin to a WARRIOR. Thus, standing firm and fighting the good fight of FAITH allows God to WORK with you. He is guiding your STEPS, creating a way where NONE seems to exist, clearing a PATH for you, and taking DELIGHT in you. This signifies His PLEASURE in your courageous SPIRIT. He appreciates your stand for RIGHTEOUSNESS, your PRIORITIZATION of Him, and your complete RELIANCE on Him. Remember, God cherishes your ZEAL for Him and welcomes your BOLD approach to His throne of GRACE. He is HONORED by your commitment to fight the good fight of FAITH.

I understand MANY of you are confronting CHALLENGES today. Be ASSURED that God desires to ELEVEATE you and ENDOW you with His STRENGTH. Embrace it through FAITH. Stand FIRM in the knowledge that He IS guiding your steps; and when GOD leads, He invariably leads you towards TRIUMPH.

Today’s Scripture:

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and He delighteth in his way.

(Psalm 37:23, KJV)

KEEP ABIDING IN CHRIST…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

KEEP ABIDING IN HIM AND HE’LL BRING YOU THROUGH AND MAKE YOU STRONG AND STABLE

In life, we experience both highs and lows. There are challenging SEASONS—times of TESTING, TRIALS, and TEMPTATION—that shape our character and FORTIFY our faith in God. It may sometimes feel as though we’re advancing only to fall back FURTHER. Without VIGILANCE, we might believe that life will ALWAYS be this way. Even during STRONG periods, we might anticipate PROBLEMS.

God does not desire for us to live life as if it were a roller coaster. He aims to lead us to a place of STABILITY, where we remain STEADFAST in Him. Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in ME, you will bear MUCH fruit, and your fruit will LAST.” The term “REMAIN” signifies being fixed, UNMOVABLE, and UNAFFECTED by circumstances. By continually abiding in HIM and meditating on His WORD, He will GUIDE us through. He will STRENGTHEN us, keep us STEADY, and help us PROGRESS into the BLESSED life He has ENVISIONED for us.

Today’s Scripture:

“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given to you.”

(John 15:7, NIV)

DON’T GIVE POWER TO DOUBT…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

DON’T GIVE POWER TO DOUBT WITH YOUR SPEECH

LEARNING to walk in the destiny God has laid out for you is a JOURNEY. The initial step is to acquire a VISION, a distinct image from God that you can VISUALIZE. The subsequent step is to TRUST Him – to have FAITH that it will come to fruition. Then, you take a leap of faith and fulfill what God has PLEDGED, regardless of your circumstances or what OTHERS may say. First, you DREAM it; then, you BELIEVE it; and finally, you LIVE it. Every dream I’VE ever had from God has adhered to this pattern. Scripture shows that even the notable figures of the Bible underwent this journey. They faced doubts and challenges, but they CLUNG to God’s WORD, CONFIDENT that He is FAITHFUL to finish what He BEGAN in us.

If you’re struggling to believe in God’s PROMISES today, remember that you’re part of a PROCESS. Don’t give power to DOUBT with your SPEECH. Rather, continue to AFFIRM that the One who promised is FAITHFUL. Keep the VISION before you, aware that it’s set for a specific TIME. DREAM it and BELIEVE it, for soon you’ll be LIVING the blessed life God has DESIGNED for YOU.

Today’s Scripture:

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

(Philippians 1:6, NIV)

DON’T ALLOW THEM TO CONTROL YOU…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

IF YOU ALLOW SOMEONES WORDS OR ACTIONS TO UPSET YOU, YOU’RE ALLOWING THEM TO CONTROL YOU

Did you know that when you allow someone else’s WORDS or ACTIONS to upset YOU, you’re actually letting them CONTROL you? Saying “You make me so mad” is essentially conceding that their actions DOMINATE you. As long as they are aware they can TRIGGER you and you continue to REACT the same way, you’re GIVING them what they WANT. Indeed, people have the RIGHT to say and do things that may be upsetting, but WE also have the right NOT to be OFFENDED. We have the right to OVERLOOK their actions. The BIBLE even states that it is an HONOR for a person to stay aloof from strife. This means we must DISTANCE ourselves, either physically OR emotionally, from conflict and OFFENSE. It’s challenging, but WE can DECIDE to let it slide off us EFFORTLESSLY. Remember, you don’t NEED universal agreement or others’ APPROVAL to be validated by BOD. Your duty is to be the individual God created YOU to be. OVERLOOK offenses and release STRIFE to live in PEACE and TRIUMPH EVERY day of your life.

Today’s Scripture:

It is an honor for a man to cease from strife and keep aloof from it, but every fool will quarrel.

Proverbs 20:3, AMPC

WHATEVER YOU CONFESS…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHATEVER YOU CONFESS AND PLACE YOUR FAITH IN WILL MANIFEST IN YOUR LIFE

Scripture indicates that SALVATION is attained when an individual declares Jesus as Lord and truly BELIEVES that He rose from the dead. Similarly, God’s Word becomes VIBRANT in our hearts through our CONFESSION and belief.

Now, consider what you are CONFESSING today. What are you DECLARING about your CIRCUMSTANCES? Are you affirming the WORD and trusting that God is working UNSEEN? Or are you focusing on your TROUBLES and expecting the WORST? Your CONFESSIONS and beliefs will MANIFEST in your life.

If you find yourself SPEAKING negatively, it’s time to halt and REDIRECT your thoughts and WORDS. You have the freedom to proclaim God’s Word at ANY moment. Don’t let your thoughts and speech drift AIMLESSLY. Act DELIBERATELY. Carry a few verses of Scripture WITH you, resolve to declare the WORD, believe, and EXPERIENCE triumph in EVERY aspect of your life.

Today’s Scripture:

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Romans 10:9, NIV

FAILURE IS TEMPORARY…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

FAILURE IS TEMPORARY, BUT GOD’S WORD ENDURES FOREVER

Feeling down due to past MISTAKES or because you’re not where you want to BE in life? God is aware of EVERY misstep, every CHALLENGE, and every wrong DIRECTION you’ve taken, and He has already mapped out your COMEBACK. In the Bible, Jonah, so to speak, took a DETOUR. It took him a bit LONGER, but because he cried out to God and BELIEVED, God didn’t just SAVE him; He GUIDED him to his ultimate DESTINATION.

Friend, understand today that failure is NOT the end. God has the ULTIMATE authority. Your mistakes can’t prevent you from reaching your DESTINY. God’s plan can surpass EVERY obstacle. Your world might be chaotic TODAY, be it in relationships, finances, or health. But be ASSURED: God will not only RESCUE you, He will place you on solid ground and lead you to your life’s ULTIMATE goal. The promise He instilled in you has NOT vanished due to personal setbacks. That failure is TEMPORARY, but His Word endures FOREVER. Continue to HOPE, continue to BELIEVE, for He will usher you into the blessings and VICTORY He has in store for YOU!

Today’s Scripture:

…But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead

Phillipians 3:13, NIV

EXTEND GOD’S MERCY…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

EXTEND GOD’S MERCY TO EVERYONE AROUND YOU AND YOU’LL UNCOVER THE CHAMPION WITHIN

Being kind and considerate to others is ESSENTIAL. Do you conduct yourself with LOVE, putting others BEFORE yourself? This message encourages us to take PROACTIVE steps. Observe the terms “aim” and “seek.” It’s important to be vigilant in sharing God’s mercy and kindness, and to act benevolently towards EVERYONE. Additionally, we should remain KIND to others even when they may not seem to DESERVE it. We must continue to act with love and COURTESY, even in the face of unkindness.

The manner in which you treat OTHERS significantly influences the extent of God’s blessings and favor YOU will receive. Strive for KINDNESS and endeavor to do GOOD. In doing so, God will acknowledge your actions and bestow His plentiful BLESSINGS upon you. By extending God’s mercy to EVERYONE around you, you will uncover the CHAMPION WITHIN.

Today’s Scripture:

See that none of you repays another with evil for evil, but always aim to show kindness and seek to do good to one another and to everybody.

1 Thessalonians 5:15, AMPC

…..ALLOWING HIM TO LEAD AND GUIDE YOUR STEPS

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

PRIORITIZE GOD, ALLOWING HIM TO LEAD AND GUIDE YOUR STEPS

It’s remarkable how just a few minutes at the BEGINNING of each day, dedicated to planning and orienting your thoughts POSITIVELY, can advance your progress and EMPOWER you to achieve so much MORE. However, people often get swept up in life’s hustle and forget to steer their own COURSE. FLEXIBILITY is important, but YOU should be the one directing your life’s flow. While unexpected events do occur, taking time daily to align your heart and mind sets you up for SUCCESS, no matter WHAT comes your way.

I encourage you today to take the initiative to start your day POSITIVELY and focus your thoughts in the right DIRECTION. Affirm to yourself, “Today will be a GREAT day. I am guided and directed by God’s FAVOR.” Prioritize GOD, allowing HIM to lead and guide your steps. Dedicate at least five minutes each day to this practice, making it a HABIT. Plan your day with INTENTION, as meticulous planning is KEY to getting ahead.

Today’s Scripture:

Careful planning puts you ahead in the long run; hurry and scurry puts you further behind.

Proverbs 21:5, MSG

…AS GOD CREATED YOU TO BE…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

FULLY EMBRACE YOUR IDENTITY AS GOD CREATED YOU

I came across a nurse’s report detailing her experiences with terminally ill patients. She inquired about the greatest REGRETS of hundreds of patients during their final twelve weeks of life. The most common regret was not living AUTHENTICALLY but rather according to others’ EXPECTATIONS.

Many people today are not living true to their AUTHENTIC selves, often out of fear of disappointing OTHERS. They worry about losing FAVOR or not being ACCEPTED by a group. With respect, one cannot live SOLELY to fulfill the expectations of parents, bosses, or friends. It’s CRUCIAL to remain true to what GOD has called you to be.

DECIDE to live WITHOUT regrets. Fully embrace YOUR identity as God CREATED you. Allow GOD to shape your character and direct your path. By ENTRUSTING your journey to HIM, His blessings will ILLUMINATE your life, leading to a fulfilling and ABUNDANT existence as He has INTENDED.

Today’s Scripture:

Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Galatians 1:10, NIV

IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT MONEY…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

PROSPERITY ISN’T JUST ABOUT MONEY

Many are perplexed by the Biblical concept of PROSPERITY. Prosperity transcends mere financial wealth; it encompasses HEALTH and mental PEACE. It’s about restful sleep and nurturing good RELATIONSHIPS. Numerous invaluable aspects of prosperity cannot be purchased with money, yet financial stability is also an element of prosperity. Scripture does not advocate for a life of scarcity, inability to afford desires, or reliance on others’ surplus. We are designed to lead, not follow. Jesus’s purpose was for us to have an ABUNDANT life.

As followers of Jesus, we embody the presence of ALMIGHTY GOD on earth. We ought to reflect His GOODNESS, to be so BLESSED, PROSPEROUS, GENEROUS, and JOYFUL that others desire what we possess. God’s goodness isn’t showcased through a life of defeat. It’s in surrendering to Him and rising from adversity that His GLORY shines. Trust that God desires your PROSPERITY and health as you commit EVERY aspect of your life to Him.

Today’s Scripture:

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

3 John 1:2, NKJV
