THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

FOCUS ON GOD’S PROMISES AND YOUR HEART WILL BE AT REST AND YOU’LL EXPERIENCE HIS PEACE

No matter what you may be facing in life, God is WITH you. You don’t ever have to feel anxious, worried or upset because YOU have a covenant of PEACE with Almighty God. That means His peace is ALWAYS available to you.

The Bible tells us that God’s peace passes understanding. That means you can have peace when it doesn’t make SENSE to have peace. When the rest of the world seems to be upset or fretting, you don’t HAVE to be upset. When prices go up, you can be at PEACE knowing that God has promised to supply ALL of your needs according to His riches in glory. When the housing market seems unstable, you can trust that GOD is your refuge, and He will cause you to dwell in SAFETY. He’ll MAKE a way where there seems to BE no way.

Begin to thank God for His PEACE and FAITHFULNESS in your life. Declare that the peace of GOD rules in your heart and mind. As you dwell on God’s PROMISES, your heart will be at REST, and you’ll experience the blessing of HIS peace ALL the days of your life.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD IS A REWARDER OF THOSE WHO DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM

God is a GOOD God, and He has good GIFTS for His children! He wants to bless you with PROVISION and supply ALL of your needs according to His riches in glory. He wants to pour out His abundant FAVOR on you and cause everything you touch to PROSPER. He wants to bless you with SPIRITUAL gifts and make you strong in your INNER man. He wants you to enjoy your job and be PROUD of your work each day. These are ALL gifts from God.

Every good gift from God is meant to draw us CLOSER to Him. He is GOOD and FAITHFUL, and He is a rewarder of those who diligently SEEK Him. Seek Him TODAY and experience the life of blessing He has in store for YOU!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

HE IS RISEN, TODAY WE CELEBRATE EASTER

TODAY, we celebrate Easter, the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. So much happened at Calvary’s cross over two thousand years ago; but ULTIMATELY, Jesus overcame sin and death so that we can have ABUNDANT life in Him. Because of Jesus, we can have VICTORY over ANYTHING that would try to hold us back!

No matter what bondage, stronghold, sin or addiction has held you captive in the past, when you acknowledge Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, you receive His POWER—His burden-moving, yoke-destroying ANOINTING. Sin can’t hold you back because who the Son sets free, is free INDEED! (See John 8:36.) It all starts by BELIEVING and RECEIVING this PROMISE. Then, as you meditate on His Word and draw CLOSE to Him, more of His power becomes ALIVE in you.

Today, if you’ve never made Jesus the Lord of your life, I can think of no better time than NOW to do it. Receive His TRUTH and LIFE and celebrate TRUE, eternal victory!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

DON’T BE AFRAID, NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU WILL PROSPER

No matter what may be going on all around you today, you can still live in peace. The Scripture encourages us to not let our hearts be troubled. In other words, don’t meditate on all the negative things in this world to the point that it steals your peace. If you have fear, worry or anxiety about ANYTHING, recognize that those feelings are NOT from God because He has promised to give you a spirit of POWER, LOVE and a SOUND mind. There is tremendous POWER in peace. When you are at peace INSIDE, you can THINK more clearly. You can hear the voice of God more EASILY. You’ll make better DECISIONS. Even your physical BODY responds to peace. The enemy knows this, and his goal is to STEAL your peace. He tries to set you up to get upset. But when you choose to receive GOD’S peace, NO weapon formed against you will prosper. You can LIVE in peace, you can live in JOY, and you can live the abundant life GOD has for you.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

HAVE FAITH AND KNOW THAT GOD WILL FINISH WHAT HE’S BEGUN IN YOUR LIFE

At that moment when Jesus spoke the words on the cross, “It is finished,” it certainly looked like the end. It looked as though it was over. But maybe that wasn’t just a statement of fact; it was a statement of FAITH. He was saying to His Father, “I’ve done My part. I’ve fulfilled My DESTINY. Now, I have total trust and confidence that You are going to finish what You started THROUGH Me.” Even though it looked like the end, in reality, it was only the BEGINNING.

When it looks dark in YOUR life, when things aren’t going your WAY, dare to make that declaration of FAITH just like Jesus, “It is FINISHED.” What you’re really saying is, “God, I know You are going to FINISH what You’ve BEGUN in my life. You are going to turn things around. I know that You are giving me the BREAKS that I need. Let YOUR will be done on earth as it is in heaven!” Always remember to speak VICTORY over your circumstances because He is FAITHFUL, and He WILL complete what He’s STARTED in you.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

OPEN YOUR HEART, BE WILLING TO HEAR GOD’S VOICE, AND YOU WILL HAVE PEACE…..

No matter what is going on in your life right now, the Lord PROMISES that you can have PEACE. Notice that in this verse, the psalmist is making the decision to LISTEN to what GOD says. When you make the decision to LISTEN to God and follow His DIRECTION, you will have PEACE. You may be thinking to yourself, “God doesn’t speak to me.” But the Bible says you are His sheep and you CAN hear His voice, and the voice of a stranger you will NOT follow.

The Lord speaks in MANY ways—sometimes through a FRIEND, or a SONG or in the beauty of NATURE. Sometimes it’s a simple “KNOWING” deep down on the inside of you. If you aren’t sure how God speaks to YOU, ask Him to TEACH you. All you have to do is open your heart and be willing to HEAR His voice. As you open your heart to Him, He WILL speak, and you will live in His PEACE all the days of your life.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

THERE’S POWER IN YOUR WORDS, AND POWER WHEN YOU’RE IN AGREEMENT WITH GOD

Are you BELIEVING God for something today that seems impossible? We serve a great and MIGHTY God, and He can create something out of nothing! He can make a way where there seems to BE no way! He can CREATE whatever is needed in your life.

Genesis tells us that in the beginning, God created the heavens and earth. But before He spoke the world into existence, it was formless and EMPTY. If God can make the WORLD out of nothing, He can take the empty places in your life and create something beautiful, TOO! He can speak LIGHT into your darkest hour. He can take your formless DREAMS and give them shape. He can resurrect your dormant GIFTS and TALENTS! He can make your crooked places STRAIGHT!

Remember, you are created in the IMAGE of Almighty God. There’s POWER in your words and power when you’re in AGREEMENT with Him. Only say what GOD says about your situation. Speak LIFE to your broken DREAMS today. Stay in an attitude of FAITH and EXPECTANCY, and as you do, God will take you places that you’ve NEVER dreamed. He’ll make something BEAUTIFUL out of EVERY broken place in your life!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD WOULDN’T ALLOW IT, IF HE DIDN’T HAVE A PURPOSE FOR IT

God is always looking to take us to higher levels. He wants us to GROW and INCREASE in every area of life. CHANGE is often a CATALYST for growth in our lives. It keeps us from getting stuck in a rut. God will supernaturally open and close doors to keep us on the path toward our DESTINY. He will “stir us” out of comfortable situations and stretch us because He loves us too much to allow us to live in mediocrity. You may be in a perfectly fine situation for YEARS, but just as He opened that door, all of a sudden He closes it. NOTHING happens by accident. God is DIRECTING your steps. That means if a friend does you wrong, if you go through a setback, if you lose someone, or if your workplace changes, you can either EMBRACE that change and God will use it to take you higher, or you can resist it and end up becoming STAGNANT and settling for mediocrity. Stay OPEN for change. It may be negative on the surface, but remember that God would not allow it if He didn’t have a PURPOSE for it. If you will embrace that change, the winds that you thought would defeat you will actually push you to your divine DESTINY.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

IF GOD BE FOR US, WHO DARE COME AGAINST US

FAITH is all around us. People have faith in so many different things: faith that a FRIEND will be true, faith that your JOB is taking you on a certain career path, faith that the CHAIR you are sitting on is going to hold you UP! Faith is simply BELIEVING in something. But there are different kinds, or LEVELS, of faith. I’ve discovered TWO kinds of faith—a DELIVERING faith and a SUSTAINING faith. Delivering faith is when God INSTANTLY turns your situation around. When that happens, it’s GREAT. But I believe it takes a GREATER faith and a deeper walk with God to have sustaining faith. Sustaining faith is when God takes you THROUGH the difficulty. You are filled with doubt, anxiety, fear, and bitterness. But when you know that GOD is in control, and even if you go THROUGH the difficulty, you know He will take care of you. You can say, “God, I don’t CARE what comes against me, I don’t care how LONG it takes, this thing is NOT going to defeat me. I know that You loved me and GAVE Yourself for me. As long as You are FOR me, that’s all that matters.”
