THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE YOU’RE IN OVER YOUR HEAD, REMEMBER, GOD IS WITH YOU

The scripture says is Psalm 107:23-24, “They that go down to the sea and do business in deep waters, they will see the wonders of God.” Friend, you and I were created to do business in DEEP waters. In other words, we’re not supposed to have little DREAMS or little PLANS. We are supposed to have BIG dreams. We are supposed to go out into the DEEP things God has for us.

But understand, when you’re out there in the DEEP waters, you can’t touch the ground. You can’t see the shoreline, and at times, it can get a little rocky. You may not always see how things are going to work out. But, the scripture tells us that DEEP calls to DEEP. In other words, GOD is the one who has called you to the DEEP waters. He IS with you, and He knows there are DEEP things on the INSIDE of you. Remember, in DEEP waters, you are NOT alone. God IS with you, and He’s causing those DEEP things inside of you to come forth.

If you feel like you are out in the DEEP today, if you feel like you are overwhelmed, remember, you are in the right place and God IS with you. You will see His wonderful DEEDS in the DEEP, and you WILL fulfill the plan He has in store for you.

GOD WANTS YOU TO BE SO BLESSED, THAT EVERYONE AROUND YOU CAN SEE HIS GOODNESS ON YOU….

Everyone goes through seasons of difficulty or times when things just seem dark. During these challenging times, know that you are NOT alone. God has a plan to drive out the darkness—He will flood you with His LIGHT! Notice that in today’s verse it doesn’t say, “The light will come trickling in.” No, it says that the light will come BURSTING in! That means SUDDENLY, you will see God’s GOODNESS. SUDDENLY, you’ll be PROMOTED. SUDDENLY, the ANSWER will come!

If you’ve been going through a difficult time, get ready for the GOODNESS of God in a NEW way. Know that His light is about to come BURSTING in! Get ready for BREAKTHROUGHS. Get ready for PROMOTION. Get ready for RESTORATION. You may have had that problem for a long, long time, but today could be the day that it turns around. SUDDENLY, things can CHANGE! God wants His GLORY to be seen on you. He wants you to stand out in the crowd. He wants you to be so BLESSED that everyone around you can see His GOODNESS on you! So keep STANDING, keep BELIEVING, keep HOPING and keep DECLARING His Word because His light is going to come BURSTING in!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

START THE DAY RIGHT AND LIVE A LIFESTYLE OF PRAISE

As you woke up this morning, what was the first thing that went through your mind? Did you wake up with a song of PRAISE on your lips?

When we start the day in WORSHIP, we start the day connected to Almighty God. When we live a lifestyle of PRAISE, it shows that our FAITH is constantly in Him. We make glorifying God a PRIORITY. It’s not secondary, “Oh, if I have time.” No, you’re always talking about God’s GOODNESS. You’re constantly telling your friends how God has BLESSED you. In your car, you’re singing songs of PRAISE. At the office, under your breath, you’re thanking God for His FAVOR. You get up in the morning and say, “God, I LOVE You today. I PRAISE You today. Thank You for another beautiful day.” Then when you go to bed at night, you BLESS Him for His FAITHFULNESS!

Friend, when you have the high PRAISES of God coming out of your mouth, the scripture says Almighty God will go to war against your enemies. PRAISE precedes the VICTORY, so start the day right and live a lifestyle of PRAISE!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

THE GREAT ‘I AM’, THE ALMIGHTY GOD IS READY TO SUPPLY ALL OF YOUR NEEDS….

In the Bible, God has many names that describe His character and attributes. In the same way that someone named “Joe” might also be called “father” or “husband” or “the boss,” God has names that describe Him and His RELATIONSHIP to His people.

In the Old Testament, the Hebrew name for “God” was considered so holy that the people wouldn’t even say it. So, when God appeared to Moses in a burning bush and sent him to lead the Israelites out of captivity, Moses asked God, “Who should I say sent me?” After all, he couldn’t breathe the name of God in public. God replied by saying, “Moses, My name is I Am.” In other words, “I am ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you need. I am your JOY. I am your PEACE. I am your STRENGTH. I am your VICTORY. I am your way of ESCAPE. I am whatever you NEED.”

Today, God is saying the same thing to us! What is it that you NEED? The Great I Am, the Almighty God is ready to supply ALL of your needs according to His riches in glory. Open your heart of FAITH to Him today and receive all of the BLESSINGS He has in store for you!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

FOCUS ON HOW BIG YOUR GOD IS, INSTEAD OF HOW BIG YOUR PROBLEMS ARE

We serve a great and MIGHTY God! He is the Creator of the universe, the one who spoke the worlds into existence. He’s called the Great I AM, and He’s saying today, “I am EVERYTHING you need. I am your STRENGTH. I am your WISDOM. I am your PROTECTION. I am your PROVIDER. I am your WAY MAKER. I am your PROBLEM SOLVER. I am your DREAM giver. I am your VICTORY!

David put it this way in Psalm 138, “Though I am surrounded by troubles, You will bring me safely through. Your fist is clenched against my enemies. Your power WILL save me.” Maybe you feel like David today. You’re surrounded by all kinds of difficulties. You’re tempted to just settle right where you are. You need to get your FIRE back! Instead of focusing on how big your problems are, FOCUS on how big your GOD is! He is EVERYTHING you need. He is the Great I AM, and He is the one LEADING and GUIDING you into VICTORY in EVERY area of your life!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHEN YOU DWELL ON NEGATIVE THOUGHTS, YOU’RE NOT GOING TO HAVE PEACE

Worrying gives the devil the opportunity to move, just like WORSHIP gives GOD the opportunity to move. Worrying means to play the enemy’s lies in your mind OVER AND OVER again. God promises in Isaiah 26:3 that He will keep us in perfect PEACE when we keep our minds stayed on HIM. Pay attention to what is playing in your MIND. When you dwell on negative THOUGHT, you’re NOT going to have peace. You have to change what you’re DWELLING on. So when the opportunity to worry comes, use it as a reminder to WORSHIP the LORD and thank Him for His GOOD and precious PROMISES! Cast all of your cares on the Lord because HE CARES for YOU!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHAT’S MEANT FOR YOUR HARM, GOD WILL USE TO YOUR ADVANTAGE

Have you ever seen a palm tree in the midst of a great storm? Unlike most other trees, the palm tree is able to BEND so it will not break. A certain kind of palm can bend over until the top is almost touching the ground, but when the wind finally stops, it bounces right back UP. What’s interesting is that while that palm tree is bent over under the PRESSURE of the damaging winds, it’s being PUSHED and STRETCHED, strengthening the root system and giving it new opportunities for GROWTH.

The reason God said we’d flourish like a palm tree is because He knew there would be difficult times. He knew things would come against us to try to steal our JOY and VICTORY. God said, “You’re going to be like a palm tree because AFTER the storms of life blow, you’re going to be STRONGER, HEALTHIER, WISER, BETTER off, and ready for new GROWTH.” God never brings you out the same. He makes the enemy pay for bringing the times of darkness and trouble. What’s meant for your harm He’s going to use to your ADVANTAGE. It’s NOT going to break you; it’s going to STRENGTHEN you. You’re not only going to still be standing; you’re going to be standing STRONGER.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHEN YOU LET GOD TAKE THE LEAD, HE’LL ALWAYS LEAD YOU TO VICTORY

The steps of a GOOD man are ordered by the LORD! Many people today might find it difficult to see themselves as “good” in the eyes of God, but did you know that in the original Greek, this word means “strong” like a warrior? In other words, when you stand STRONG, when you are willing to FIGHT the good fight of FAITH, you are giving God something He can WORK with. HE is ordering your steps. He’s making a WAY when there seems to be NO way. He’s clearing a path for you, and He is DELIGHTING in you. That means He IS pleased with your attitude of COURAGE. He is pleased that you are taking a STAND for what is right. He is pleased that you are putting HIM first place and relying COMPLETELY on Him. Remember, God LOVES your passion for Him. He loves it when you come BOLDLY to His throne of grace. HE is honored when you stand and fight the good fight of faith.

I know that LOTS of you are facing difficulties today. Know THIS. Know that God wants to lift you up and give you HIS strength. Receive it by FAITH today. Dig your heels in knowing that HE is ordering your steps; and when GOD is leading you, He’s ALWAYS leading you on the path to VICTORY!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

KEEP ABIDING IN HIM AND HE’LL BRING YOU THROUGH AND MAKE YOU STRONG AND STABLE

In life, we all have ups and downs. There are seasons that are more difficult than others, seasons of testing, trials and temptation where our CHARACTER is being developed and our faith in God is being STRENGTHENED. Sometimes it can feel like you are taking two steps forward and then three steps backward. But if we’re not careful, we’ll start thinking that life is ALWAYS going to be this way. Even in the STRONG seasons, you’ll start looking for things to go wrong.

God doesn’t want us to be living life like a roller coaster. He wants to bring us to a place of STABILITY where we remain STRONG in Him. Jesus said, “I am the vine. You are the branches. If you abide in me, you will bear much fruit and your fruit will REMAIN.” The word “REMAIN” means “to be FIXED, IMMOVABLE, not AFFECTED by circumstances.” If you will just keep ABIDING in Him, just keep MEDITATING on His Word, He’ll bring you THROUGH. He’ll make you STRONG, He’ll keep you STABLE, and you’ll keep moving forward into the life of BLESSING He has prepared for you!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

DON’T EMPOWER DOUBT WITH YOUR WORDS

LEARNING to walk in the destiny God has for you is a PROCESS. The first step is to get a VISION, a clear picture from God that you can SEE. The next step is to TRUST Him – to believe in faith that it WILL happen. And then finally, you take a step of FAITH and live out what God has promised no matter WHAT your circumstances or people AROUND you have to say. First you DREAM it, then you BELIEVE it, and then you LIVE it. Every dream I’VE ever received from God has followed this same pattern. We see in Scripture that even the great men and women of the Bible walked through this process. They had to overcome doubts, they struggled on their journey, but they held fast to what God said knowing that He is FAITHFUL to complete what He STARTED in us!

Today, if you are having a hard time believing what God has promised will come to pass, understand that you are in a PROCESS. Don’t empower DOUBT with your words. Instead, keep DECLARING that He who promised is FAITHFUL! Keep the VISION in FRONT of you knowing that it is for an appointed TIME. DREAM it and BELIEVE it because it won’t be long until you are LIVING the blessed life God has prepared for you!
