WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE BUT FIRST, YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO SEE IT IN YOUR IMAGINATION

How often do you stop and think about what you are thinking about? So often, people live with their minds on autopilot, taking in whatever thoughts come their way. But if we are going to rise up higher the way God intends, we have to DETERMINE to make sure OUR thoughts line up with GOD’s thoughts.

Seven times in scripture God asks, “What do you SEE?” God is interested in our VISION. Before your DREAM comes to pass, you have to SEE yourself ACCOMPLISHING that DREAM. You’ve got to get a PICTURE of it. Before you lose the weight, before you break the addiction, you have to see it happening in your IMAGINATION.

Today, instead of thinking about your problems, think about God’s PROMISES. Get a VISION for what He has in store for your FUTURE. Imagine yourself living in VICTORY. Imagine yourself HEALED. Imagine yourself walking in ABUNDANCE. Imagine yourself BLESSING OTHER PEOPLE. Just IMAGINE what God has in store for you because NOTHING is impossible with Him!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO OFFER THIS WORLD, THAT NO ONE ELSE CAN OFFER

It’s easy to get stuck in life thinking you’ve reached your limits. But, God wouldn’t have given you a DREAM without giving you the ability to accomplish it. You have everything you need. The problem many times, is that it’s buried inside. It’s hidden treasure. You have GIFTS and TALENTS that you’ve not yet tapped. There is POTENTIAL that is waiting to be released. When God laid out the plan for your life, He deposited in you the SKILL, the WISDOM, the CREATIVITY; everything you need to fulfill your DESTINY. Now here’s the key. It’s not what you have IN you that matters; it’s what you get OUT. If you’re going to reach your highest POTENTIAL, you have to tap in to that hidden treasure.

Now the challenge is, “don’t die with the treasure still on the inside.” You have something to offer this world that nobody else can offer! You are unique, one of a kind. You are ANOINTED to be you. Be CONFIDENT in who God made you to be, knowing that you’ve got what it takes to step in to the fullness of your DESTINY!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

LOOK FOR WAYS TO BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS

Too often, people fall into the trap of strife. Someone may SAY something that rubs you the wrong way, and before you know it, there is tension, quarreling and division. The Bible tells us that strife opens the door to EVERY evil work. It’s the enemy’s greatest trap to keep people from living in victory. But you don’t have to fall into the trap of strife, you can rise ABOVE it. Like today’s verse says, you can simply drop the matter before it turns into something bigger than it needs to be. You don’t have to sink down to somebody’s level and argue with them and try to prove that you’re right. YOU WEREN’T PUT ON THIS EARTH TO CORRECT EVERYBODY AROUND YOU.

If you are going to be all that God’s called you to be, you have to learn to stay ABOVE strife. Instead of letting disagreements pull your relationships APART, look for common ground to draw you CLOSER together. Look for PEACE. Look for ways to be a BLESSING. Stay above strife so you can ENJOY your relationships and experience the BLESSING He has for you!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD WANTS US TO BE VIBRANT AND BLOOMING RIGHT WHERE HE’S PLANTED US

I remember walking in the woods one time when I came upon a clearing filled with weeds. As far as I could see, these dead, dried-up weeds had covered up everything. As I walked a hundred yards further in, I saw a single, beautiful flower that had grown up among all those weeds. It was so colorful and so different from everything that surrounded it. I thought, “That’s what God wants us to be: VIBRANT and BLOOMING wherever He’s PLANTED us.”

Friend, no matter what season you are in today, God wants you to BLOOM right where you are. That doesn’t mean you’re going to always be in that situation. It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t DREAM big or PLAN for the future. It simply means that you are going to CHOOSE to be your BEST on the way to where you’re headed. It means you go out each day with a smile on your face and a spring in your step. It means you give God GLORY in everything you do. Always remember, BLOOM where you’re PLANTED and let Him work in and through you all the days of your life!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD HAS THE PERFECT HIDING PLACE FOR YOU

Have you ever watched children play hide and seek? They look for the best place to hide in the house or yard and wait quietly for their friend to try and find them. It’s a fun game for kids, but even as adults, we need a good place to HIDE from time to time. Sometimes we need a place of REFUGE, we need a place of SAFETY, and we need a place to REST when we feel OVERWHELMED by the circumstances of life—a place where the enemy of our soul can NEVER find us.

The GOOD news is that God has the PERFECT hiding place for you! You don’t have to hide in your job. You don’t have to hide in relationships. You don’t have to hide in food or addictions because God HIMSELF promises to hide you! He freely offers you SHELTER from the storms of life ANY time you call upon His name.

Remember, there’s only one PLACE the enemy CANNOT FIND you. There’s only one place where opposition cannot STEAL from you. There’s only one TRUE place of SAFETY and REST for your soul, and that is in the arms of JESUS. Know that He LOVES you, and He is ready to RECEIVE you when you call upon His name!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

RIGHT NOW, GOD IS JUST WAITING TO SHOW YOU THE GREATNESS OF HIS POWER…….

Paul prayed in Ephesians 1:19 that WE would understand the exceeding GREATNESS of God’s POWER for those who BELIEVE. Notice the power is only activated when we BELIEVE. That means right now the Creator of the universe is just waiting to release HEALING, RESTORATION, FAVOR, PROMOTION, ABUNDANCE. The only catch is that we have to BELIEVE.

I think about Mary, the mother of Christ. When she was a teenager, the angel came to her and said, “You’re going to have a child without knowing a man.” Her first thought was, “That’s impossible. That’s never happened before. That defies the laws of nature.” She said to the angel, “How can this be?” He answered back, “The Spirit of the Lord will come on you and cause it to happen.”

I love the way Mary responded. She didn’t argue with him. She didn’t try to talk herself out of it. She simply said, “Be it unto me even as you have said.”

Has God placed a DREAM in your heart that seems impossible? If you will choose to BELIEVE, then His strength WILL rise up in you. HIS ability will supersede YOUR ability, and the greatness of His POWER will bring to pass every DREAM and every DESIRE He has placed within you!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

YOU WOULD NOT BE WHERE YOU ARE IF NOT FOR THE GRACIOUS HAND OF GOD ON YOUR LIFE…..

Have you ever thought about the fact that the victories you saw in your past weren’t just your own doing? When you made it through a difficult time, when you received an unexpected break, when things turned around for no reason, it was because God FAVORED you. You wouldn’t be where you are if the gracious hand of God was not on your life!

It doesn’t matter if you don’t have as much EDUCATION as someone else. It doesn’t matter how influential your FAMILY is. It doesn’t matter what your BACKGROUND is. God’s FAVOR can take you where you could not go on your own. When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, He places something UNDENIABLE on the inside of you. Something that cannot be measured, can’t be put on paper, and can’t be explained—it is His Holy Spirit and His FAVOR shining down on you! Other people may not be able to figure it out. All they know is that you’ve got SOMETHING—that’s the gracious hand of God.

Today let this truth sink down deeply into your heart. Don’t be discouraged by what you can see, be ENCOURAGED by what you CAN’T see! Put your shoulders back and go out with FAITH and CONFIDENCE knowing that His gracious HAND is upon you!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHEN THE INTENSITY HEATS UP, THAT MEANS YOU ARE CLOSER TO YOUR VICTORY

Have you been praying and BELIEVING for something that seems like it’s taking a lot longer than you thought? Many times, people can miss God’s best simply because they give up before they see their “DUE SEASON” come. Don’t let that be you! Be ENCOURAGED today, your answer IS closer than you think. If it seems like things are getting more difficult, remember, when the INTENSITY heats up, that means you are CLOSER to your victory. It ALWAYS seems darkest just before the dawn arrives.

We serve a FAITHFUL God, and He’s working behind the scenes on your behalf. Don’t cast away your CONFIDENCE today because your reward is coming. And just like a new mother forgets about her labor pain once she is finally holding her newborn, you’ll forget about YOUR struggle when you are holding on to your PROMISE. While you are waiting, keep an attitude of FAITH and EXPECTANCY. Wake up every morning and say out loud, “I’ve come TOO FAR to give up now. My due season IS coming. I WILL reap my harvest.” Stay in FAITH and look for His hand of BLESSING because He has promised you VICTORY, and it’s closer than you THINK!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHATEVER WE DO, WE SHOULD GIVE IT OUR BEST

When you give 100 percent EFFORT, and you do it to the best of your ABILITY because you’re honoring GOD, you will have His blessing. That means it will be EASIER, it will go BETTER, and you will accomplish MORE. That’s why no matter what we do, we should give it our BEST. This is especially true even in the LITTLE things. For example, when you’re doing the dishes or mowing the lawn, don’t drag around all sour and frustrated. Mow with ENTHUSIASM, as though you’re on a mission from GOD! With every step, thank God that your LEGS work. Thank Him that you’re HEALTHY and STRONG. At the office, don’t do just enough to get by. You’re not working unto people, you’re working unto GOD. Do it with your WHOLE heart. When you volunteer at church, don’t wake up and think, “Awe, man. Why did I volunteer? I want to sleep in!” No, serve Him with ALL your heart because that’s what HONORS God. When you honor GOD, He’ll honor YOU. He’ll give you His LIFE, PEACE, HEALTH and BLESSING now and FOREVERMORE!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD HAS ALREADY DONE HIS PART, NOW, BELIEVE, AND BE THANKFUL….

All through the Bible, there are so many promises of what God has already done for us. It says in Ephesians that “God has BLESSED us with every spiritual blessing.” It says in Colossians that “God has made us WORTHY.” There is MERCY for any mistake we will ever make. It’s ALREADY been taken care of. He paid the ultimate price through the death, burial and resurrection of His Son, Jesus. He’s done His part. Now it’s up to us to do OUR part. We have to start BELIEVING it so we can RECEIVE.

In the natural, when someone gives you a gift, what’s the first thing you say? “THANK YOU.” When you give thanks, it’s a sign that you are receiving the gift. Today, receive what God has given you by saying, “Father, thank You for Your MERCY. Thank You for supplying all of my NEEDS. Thank You for Your GOODNESS in my life.”

As you learn to give Him thanks, you are learning to receive from Him. Open your heart by FAITH today and thank Him for all of the BLESSINGS He has in store for you!
