THE MOMENT YOU ASKED GOD TO FORGIVE YOU, HE FORGAVE YOU

When you need God’s MERCY, go BOLDLY to His throne. Don’t go weakly, telling Him how you don’t measure up. Go with CONFIDENCE, knowing you’re FORGIVEN, knowing He’s FOR you. Yes, you may have blown it, but He doesn’t LISTEN when you keep telling Him everything you’ve done WRONG. The moment you asked God to FORGIVE you, He FORGAVE you. God listens to the language of FAITH.

The enemy would LOVE for you to live feeling CONDEMNED. He’ll remind you of all the times you haven’t measured UP, even for SMALL things. There’s ALWAYS some reason to feel BAD about what you’ve done. If you give IN to those lies, you’ll go through life trying to pay God back for your MISTAKES. God’s mercy has covered EVERYTHING you’ve done wrong. All your sins–PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE–have been taken CARE of by Jesus on the CROSS. REST in the fact that the spotless, sinless blood of the Lamb of God has paid the price in FULL. RECEIVE God’s MERCY.

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD SPECIALIZES IN SPEEDING THINGS UP, SO GET READY!

After God delivered the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, they were headed toward the PROMISED Land. But as the Israelites headed into a dead end at the Red Sea, they saw Pharaoh’s army coming after them at FULL force. They had nowhere to GO. It LOOKED as though they would certainly be recaptured or KILLED. But THEN Moses held up his rod, the Red Sea parted, and the Israelites went through on dry GROUND. When Pharaoh’s men came CHASING them, the waters closed back UP and they were all drowned. The psalmist gives us INSIGHT into what HAPPENED: “The Red Sea saw the Israelites COMING and hurried out of their WAY!”

YOU may have obstacles that LOOK permanent in your life, but God is about to have them hurry out of YOUR way. That ADDITCION, that DEPRESSION, the LACK, the ANXIETY–it’s about to hurry out of your WAY. SUDDENLY the waters PART, suddenly your HEALTH turns around, suddenly the door OPENS. Get READY. God SPECIALIZES in speeding things UP.

WHAT BEING SUCCESSFUL IS REALLY ALL ABOUT…..

There are a lot of people who are SUCCESSFUL in this world. They’ve ACCOMPLISHED their goals in the public eye. But being successful isn’t just about what you make happen for YOURSELF, it’s about what you make happen for OTHERS. It’s when you REALIZE, “God has blessed me not to just sit on my throne and let everybody see my ACCOMPLISHMENTS; God has blessed me to be a blessing to OTHERS. God has helped me to WIN so I can help somebody ELSE win.” In other words, it’s when you realize, “God helped me overcome this ADDICTION, now I’m going to find somebody and help THEM overcome.” Or, “God has blessed me with a happy FAMILY. I’m going to go find a family who is struggling and help THEM get back on track.” THAT’S what being SUCCESSFUL is really all about.

Today, look for ways to help others SUCCEED. Reach back and give FREELY of the TALENTS and ABILITIES you’ve been given. As you do, YOU’LL rise up higher and live in the fullness of the blessing God has prepared for YOU!

YOU HAVE ALMIGHT GOD’S APROVAL, YOU DON’T NEED APPROVAL FROM ANYONE ELSE…..

Jesus says to overcome evil with GOOD and to BLESS our enemies, but He ALSO says to not cast your pearls among SWINE. By “your PEARLS,” He meant to not keep trying to convince those who refuse to believe the GOSPEL, but it also includes YOU. Some people won’t value the CALLING on your life, the GIFT God has given you, or your ANOINTING. They will REJECT and trample over the GOSPEL and who God made you to BE, and they’ll not RESPECT what you have to OFFER. Your time is too valuable to WASTE it with people who discount your PEARLS. Don’t hang around people who try to LESSEN you, who make you feel like you have to PROVE to them who you ARE. You don’t NEED their approval; you have Almighty GOD’S approval. He created you in His own IMAGE. He calls you a MASTERPIECE. Hang around people who RECOGNIZE your gifts, who INSPIRE you to go FURTHER, who bring out the BEST in you, and who cause your pearls to SHINE.

FORGIVE OTHERS SO YOU CAN BE FREE BECAUSE ONLY GOD CAN TRULY PAY YOU BACK

When God talks about debts, He’s talking about the times when people HURT you and do you WRONG. It’s a debt because human NATURE says, “I was wronged. Now I want JUSTICE. YOU have to pay me back.” But the mistake MANY people make is in trying to collect a debt that only GOD can pay. Your PARENTS can’t pay you back for not providing a loving CHILDHOOD. Your FRIEND can’t pay you back for the PAIN they caused by something they SAID or DID. Only GOD can TRULY pay you back.

If you spend your life trying to get from OTHERS what only GOD can give, it will RUIN relationships. YOUR attitude should be, “God, I will NOT be bitter, trying to get PEOPLE to give me what they don’t HAVE. You promised YOU would settle my cases and pay me back DOUBLE for every injustice. I’m leaving it up to YOU.” When you see the person who did you wrong, stamp the account “PAID IN FULL” in your imagination. FORGIVE so you can be FREE.

SAY WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT YOUR SITUATION AND YOU WILL PREVAIL

Jeremiah 5 says that though the ocean may be a billion times bigger and more POWERFUL than the sand, God put an everlasting ORDINANCE in the sand that it would keep the ocean in its BOUNDARIES. The ocean may roar and POUND the sand with its WAVES, but because of God’s DECREE, the sand will NOT be overpowered.

What you’re up against may LOOK bigger, more POWERFUL, but when you have God’s WORD in your heart, that’s the everlasting ORDINANCE. His WORD is the DECREE that enables you to WITHSTAND storms that are STRONGER, overcome CHALLANGES that are BIGGER, and accomplish DREAMS that seem IMPOSSIBLE. Now make sure you do YOUR part and keep God’s WORD in your heart. For any area that you’re STRUGGLING in, you need to find SCRIPTURES that you can STAND on. There’s NOTHING more POWERFUL than saying what GOD says about you. When the enemy ROARS at you, roar BACK at him with God’s PROMISES. Say what GOD says about your situation, and you WILL PREVAIL.

I placed the sand as the boundary for the sea, a perpetual barrier that it cannot pass; though the waves toss, they cannot prevail; though they roar, they cannot pass over it.

DARE TO BELIEVE WHAT GOD TOLD YOU…..

When a government official made a desperate plea that Jesus would come to his house and heal his dying SON, Jesus simply declared that his son would LIVE and he should go HOME. All the man was given was Jesus’ word of promise, yet his ATTITUDE was to mix in FAITH with the PROMISE rather than mix in doubt or WORRY. Nothing had changed, and Jesus wasn’t going with him to PRAY, but the man wasn’t MOVED by what he saw. He had MANY reasons to DOUBT, but he kept believing Jesus’ WORD and found his son alive and WELL.

That’s what happens when you mix in your FAITH with God’s PROMISES–NOT doubt, not WORRY, not FEAR. Dare to BELIEVE what God told YOU. Don’t be moved by what you don’t SEE, by how LONG it’s taking, by how bad it LOOKS, or by what you don’t HAVE. Keep THANKING God for what He PROMISED, keep declaring what He SAID, and keep talking like it’s on the WAY. GOD has the final WORD.

Then Jesus told him, “Go back home. Your son will live!” And the man believed what Jesus said and started home. While the man was on his way, some of his servants met him with the news that his son was alive and well.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

WHEN YOU HAVE GOD’S “SPECIAL STRENGTH”, YOU’RE GOING TO OVERCOME WHAT LOOKS IMPOSSIBLE

In today’s Scripture, the prophet Elijah had just defeated the 450 prophets of BAAL who supported King Ahab, and no doubt he was EXHAUSTED. Yet it says that God gave him the SPECIAL strength to OUTRUN Ahab’s chariot over the twenty-mile journey to Jezreel. That chariot represented Ahab’s POWER, and it’s not possible for a man to outrun a HORSE even over a short DISTANCE. God was SHOWING Ahab that HIS power was so far superior to ANYTHING Ahab had.

You may look at what YOU’RE up against today and feel that YOU don’t have the STRENGTH, the ENDURANCE, the FORTITUDE to keep BATTLING. Maybe it’s cancer, or an addiction, or a SITUATION in your FAMILY. No, get READY. God is NOT going to let you stay feeling OVERWHELMED. RIGHT now, He is breathing SPECIAL strength into YOU. When you have SPECIAL strength, you’re going to OVERCOME what looks impossible, you’re going to accomplish dreams that seem too far GONE. You’re about to OUTRUN some CHARIOTS.

Then the LORD gave special strength to Elijah. He tucked his cloak into his belt and ran ahead of Ahab’s chariot all the way to the entrance of Jezreel.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

…IT MAY SEEM IMPOSSIBLE BUT THAT’S OK, THAT DOESN’T STOP OUR GOD…..

Having traveled through the desert on their way to a battle, the armies of Judah and Israel completely ran out of WATER and feared they were DOOMED. But the prophet Elisha told them that the dry valley would be filled with an ABUNDANCE of water even though there was no RAIN. That seemed IMPOSSIBLE, but the next morning water SUDDENLY started flowing into the valley from an unknown SOURCE.

YOU may be in a valley that’s dry today. It LOOKS permanent, but you don’t HAVE to figure out how God is going to bring you into abundance. It may not SEEM possible. That’s OKAY. The valley doesn’t STOP our God. We think NATURAL, but God is SUPERNATURAL. He’s not LIMITED by what you don’t have. HE knows how to turn your situation AROUND. His FAVOR can open a door that couldn’t be OPENED. He can heal WITHOUT a treatment. God brings water without RAIN. HE controls the faucet. Get READY. It’s not going to BE ordinary. There’s no EXPLANATION. It’s going to be the hand of GOD.

2 Kings 3:17–18, NIV

You will see neither wind nor rain, yet this valley will be filled with water…This is an easy thing in the eyes of the LORD; he will also deliver Moab into your hands.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

ALL THE FORCES OF DARKNESS CANNOT STOP WHAT GOD HAS PROMISED…..

We ALL go through times when we don’t THINK we’ll win our BATTLES, seasons of darkness when nothing is CHANGING. You may have been believing for a long time for things to change in your marriage, your finances, or with an addiction, but the obstacle seems PERMANENT. You have to walk by FAITH and NOT by sight when there’s no evidence that it’s a new day and the battle has TURNED. Today’s Scripture says that the MOMENT you PRAYED in the dark, the battle TURNED.

Now instead of complaining about the DARK, have a new PERSPECTIVE. Who can stop the SUN from rising each morning? All the forces of DARKNESS cannot stop what God has PROMISED you from coming to PASS. You may not SEE anything improving, but my challenge is to TRUST Him in the DARK. The sun is going to come up sooner than you THINK. The battle has ALREADY turned. DAYBREAK is about to happen. Get ready for FAVOR, get ready for BREAKTHROUGHS, get ready for FREEDOM, get ready for PROMOTION.
