LOOK FOR GOD’S GOODNESS AND FAVOR TODAY

ALL around you, God’s GOODNESS is on display. The question is, do you SEE it? The Scripture talks about how God was in the midst of people, but they knew Him not. Too many times, God is working in OUR lives, showing us FAVOR, PROTECTING us, sending us HEALING, but we don’t RECOGNIZE His goodness. For example, if you weren’t the most qualified or the most talented but you got the PROMOTION, that’s the GOODNESS of God. If you’re going through a difficult time and a friend stops by out of the blue and cheers you up, that’s the GOODNESS of God. It’s EASY to see the negative, what we don’t have, what we didn’t get, but that won’t build our FAITH. Instead, make a DECISION to search for the GOOD things God has given you. His MERCY is new each morning. LOOK for His GOODNESS and His FAVOR today!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

YOU MAY ‘FEEL’ INADEQUATE, BUT GOD CALLS YOU ‘WELL ABLE’

In scripture, God called Gideon a mighty man of fearless courage. Now Gideon looked around and said, ‘God couldn’t be talking about ME. I come from the poorest family. I’m the LEAST one in my father’s house.’ Gideon saw himself as weak, defeated, and NOT able. But God saw him as STRONG, CONFIDENT, and being MORE than a conqueror.

The question is are we going to believe what GOD says about us, OR are we going to believe what WE feel, what we THINK, or what the circumstances LOOK like? You may feel weak today, but God calls you STRONG. You may feel like a victim, but God calls you a VICTOR. You may be afraid, but God calls you CONFIDENT. You may be in debt, God calls you PROSPEROUS. You may be sick, God calls you WELL. You may be addicted, God calls you FREE. You may feel inadequate, but God calls you well ABLE.

Today, get into AGREEMENT with GOD. No matter what the circumstances LOOK like, you’ve got to dig your heels in and say, ‘God, I AGREE with what YOU call me. I’m FREE, FORGIVEN and HEALED in Jesus’ Name!”

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

START THIS NEW YEAR WITH A VISION FOR OVERFLOW….

What is the VISION you have for YOUR life? Do you see yourself rising higher? Do you see yourself INCREASING and GROWING in the BLESSING of God?

If we are going to live the ABUNDANT, OVERFLOWING life that God has promised us, we have to have a VISION for it. We have to see ourselves so BLESSED and so FILLED that we overflow on to the people AROUND us. We should have so much JOY that others are JOYFUL just being in our PRESENCE. We should have so much PEACE that people just feel CALM when they come around us. We should overflow in our RESOURCES so that we can turn around and be a BLESSING to OTHERS. But it all STARTS with having a VISION for OVERFLOW.

I want to challenge YOU today, start seeing yourself living the ABUNDANT life God has promised. Start seeing yourself increasing in INFLUENCE. Get a vision for OVERFLOW and receive His overflow so you can experience the abundant life He has prepared for YOU!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

LET THIS BE THE YEAR THAT YOU MOVE FORWARD INTO A NEW LIFE OF VICTORY

As a follower of Christ, you are a NEW creation! You have a new SPIRIT, a new WALK, a new LIFE! Are there “old” things in your life that you are trying to get RID of? Maybe you have old BEHAVIORS or ADDICITIONS that you want to CHANGE. Remember, the NEW is near. It’s a new YEAR, and it’s time to be the new YOU. Let this year be the year you BREAK old habits and addictions. Let this be the year that you move FORWARD into a new life of VICTORY. And your new life includes all the spiritual BLESSINGS the Lord has promised in His WORD. You have a promise of PEACE, HEALTH, PROTECTION and PROVISION. Be ENCOURAGED today and know that no matter what is happening in your life right NOW, you can embrace the NEW life God has prepared for you. Make the CHOICE today to leave the old BEHIND—leave behind old BEHAVIOR, old THINKING, old WORDS. Embrace the new by FAITH, and you’ll move forward into the life of BLESSING the Lord has in store for YOU.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHEN YOU RELEASE A DREAM IN SOMEONE ELSE, YOU’LL SEE YOUR OWN DREAMS COME ALIVE AS WELL

Think about the PEOPLE God has PLACED in your life. They’re NOT there by ACCIDENT. God brings people to you for a PURPOSE. We should live with this AWARENESS that “I am here to add VALUE to people. I am here to help THEM succeed.” Don’t go around always thinking, “I wonder what that person can do for ME. I wonder what THEY have to offer.” NO, we should have the attitude, “What can I do for THEM? How can I help THEM come up higher? Can I teach them something ‘I’ know? Can I connect them with someone who can help THEM?” Don’t make the mistake of going through life ingrown. Instead, be a dream RELEASER. Use your TALENT, your INFLUENCE and your EXPERIENCE not just to accomplish YOUR goals, but to help release a dream in someone ELSE.

Remember, there is NOTHING more rewarding than to lay down at night knowing that you helped someone else become BETTER. You not only fulfilled YOUR purpose for that day, you did your BEST. It may have just been a two-minute phone call where you ENCOURAGED someone; but when you live as a dream RELEASER, you’ll see your OWN dreams come alive as WELL!

ALL OF THE BLESSINGS IN GOD’S WORD BELONG TO YOU…..

TODAY, I want to declare words of BLESSING over YOU. I want to call forth your seeds of GREATNESS. Someone may have told you what you can’t become, but I’M here to tell you what you CAN become. As a believer in JESUS, ALL of the BLESSINGS in His Word belong to YOU! Receive it by FAITH today! You are a person of DESTINY. You are EQUIPPED. You are TALENTED. You are CREATIVE. You were designed for a PURPOSE. You are LOVED, CHOSEN and ACCEPTED by Almighty God. There is NOTHING you can do to make Him love you MORE and nothing you can do to make Him love you LESS. His grace is SUFFICIENT for you. His angels have CHARGE over you. You are BLESSED coming IN and blessed going OUT. You have uncommon WISDOM. You have uncommon JOY. You have uncommon PEACE. HE is your vindicator, and He will FIGHT for you! NO weapon formed against YOU shall prosper as you serve HIM all the days of your life!

WITH GOD LEADING YOU INTO VICTORY, YOU CAN ALWAYS PLAN FOR INCREASE

Isn’t it fantastic to know that God PROMISES to ALWAYS lead us into victory? That means NO MATTER WHAT you are facing today, no matter what’s going on in the world AROUND you, no matter what anybody SAYS, you should ALWAYS be thanking God because VICTORY is ALWAYS on the way! You don’t have to wait for everything to be perfect before you decide to CELEBRATE what God is GOING TO DO in your life. PRAISE is putting ACTION behind your faith. In the middle of that adversity or tough time, start making a list of who you’re going to invite to your VICTORY celebration. That means if you’re in the hospital, start planning what you’re going to do when you get OUT. If you lost some money when the stock market went down, start planning your COMING-OUT-OF-DEBT party. When things don’t look good in the NATURAL, remember, we serve a SUPERNATURAL God. With GOD leading you into victory, you can ALWAYS plan for increase. You can plan for RESTORATION. You can plan for a COMEBACK, and you can plan for VICTORY because He is LEADING and GUIDING you in JESUS’ name! DO YOU RECEIVE IT TODAY!?! Can You Say AMEN!?!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD WILL LEAD YOU IN THE WAY THAT YOU SHOULD GO

God is ALWAYS with you. That means He is PRESENT at all times, CONTINUALLY, PERPETUALLY, throughout all TIME. In your day of trouble, He promises to be a HELP to you. How is He your help? “Help” means something different to each person. That’s because “help” is specific to your NEED. If you need money to pay your bills, a chocolate cake isn’t going to be much help! But we serve a God who is very SPECIFIC. And because He is always WITH you, He always knows EXACTLY what you need and is always READY to provide it!

Today, are you facing trouble or adversity? Know that God IS WITH you. LOOK to Him for help. TRUST that He has the answer, and that He is working things out in your FAVOR. As you continue to BELIEVE Him and follow His DIRECTION, He will LEAD you in the way that you should go. He will COMFORT you, REVIVE you, RESTORE you and BLESS you! He will be your ever-present HELP because He is forever FAITHFUL to His Word!

FOCUS ON GIVING THE GIFTS OF LOVE, KINDNESS AND ENCOURAGEMENT

Can you imagine how the wise men felt as they first looked upon our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! As part of their WORSHIP, they wanted to give Him gifts. They gave valuable PRESENTS to symbolize the LOVE, HONOR and APPRECIATION in their hearts. In the same way, you show your love and appreciation to God with gifts of WORSHIP, and you can show your love and appreciate to OTHERS by the gifts you bring.

As you celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ during this holiday season, don’t just focus on the gifts you bring in the NATURAL; focus on gifts of LOVE, KINDNESS and ENCOURAGEMENT. Go out of your way to show HONOR to others just like the wise men went out of their way to show honor to JESUS. When you walk in LOVE and PEACE, that is the place of BLESSING.

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!

What a wonderful GIFT the Father has given us by sending His Son, JESUS, the Prince of Peace, into the earth! Because of HIM, all those who BELIEVE can have PEACE with God and make HEAVEN their home. But not only did the Prince of Peace open the way to go to heaven, He made it possible to have peace on EARTH—every day in EVERY circumstance.

Today, we declare PEACE over YOU and YOUR home. We celebrate with you the greatest gift of ALL—Jesus Christ! If you don’t KNOW this peace that the Father so freely gives, open your heart and invite Jesus to make YOUR heart His home. He is the ULTIMATE gift!
