…..WHO YOU USED TO BE…….

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

YOU ARE NOT WHO YOU USED TO BE ONCE YOU MAKE JESUS THE LORD OF YOUR LIFE

If you’ve accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then YOU are the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God. That means you are ONE with Him and an extension of His VIRTUE. You are APPROVED by Him. You are in right STANDING with Him. You BELONG to Him.

Not only did Jesus pay for the punishment for your sins, but the Scripture also says He actually BECAME sin. He took sin upon Himself and into His being so that you could take God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS upon yourself and into YOUR being. It’s the great EXCHANGE.

Today, don’t let the enemy hold you back by making you feel guilty or condemned. You are NOT who you used to be; you are the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in Christ! First John 1:9 says that if we CONFESS our sins, He is FAITHFUL and JUST to forgive us our sins and to CLEANSE us from all unrighteousness. If there is anything in your life that is holding you back today, CONFESS it to God. Let Him CLEANSE you and make you NEW. Remember, He paid a precious price so that you could BE His righteousness. Meditate on this TRUTH and let Him set you FREE!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 5:21, NIV

LOVE, IS THE CHOICE…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

LOVE, IS THE CHOICE TO TREAT OTHERS THE WAY GOD TELLS US TO IN HIS WORD….

God’s desire is to see you grow and increase in every area of your life, especially in your LOVE for others. That’s because love is the GREATEST thing, and it is all that matters in eternity. At the end of the day, at the end of our lives here on earth, love is what will last forever!

Notice this verse tells us that love and faith are CONNECTED. It says in another verse that faith works BY love. Love isn’t about feelings and emotions; it’s about the CHOICE to treat people the way God TELLS us to in His Word. We are never more LIKE God than when we are walking in LOVE—when we are being PATIENT and KIND; when we are extending GRACE and MERCY and FORGIVING others the way Christ has forgiven US. The more we know HIM, and the more we know His WORD, the more we will walk in LOVE.

Today’s Scripture:

“We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing.”

2 Thessalonians 1:3, NIV

…….YOU DON’T HAVE TO WORRY…

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

BECAUSE YOUR TRUST IS IN THE LORD, YOU DON’T HAVE TO WORRY

It’s easy to think, “If I had more money, I could accomplish my dreams. If I had this or that, or knew the right people, then I could do something great.” But as long as you feel like you’re lacking or that you were shortchanged, then you’ll make excuses to be less than your best.

Today, get a new PERSPECTIVE. God has given you exactly what you need for the season that you’re in. You have the TALENT, the FRIENDS, the CONNECTIONS, the RESOURCES, the EXPERIENCE you need for right now. It doesn’t mean that’s all you’re ever going to have. You may need more next month or next year. When that time comes, God will make sure that you have what you need. Because your TRUST is in the Lord, you don’t have to worry. You lack no good thing.

Remember, you are EQUIPPED, EMPOWERED and ANOINTED for this moment. You are not lacking. You have what it takes. REJOICE because INCREASE is coming. PROMOTION is coming. New OPPORTUNITIES are coming. You are ready for whatever may come because you put your FAITH and TRUST in Him.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing.

Psalm 34:10, NLV

…..UNTIL YOU ‘SPEAK’ GOD’S WORD

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

NOTHING HAPPENS UNTIL YOU ‘SPEAK’ GOD’S WORD

When God created the worlds, He didn’t just think them into being. He didn’t just believe there would be light and land and oceans and animals. He had it in His heart, but nothing happened until He spoke. He said, “Let there be light,” and light came. His thoughts didn’t set it into motion; His words set it into motion.

It’s the same principle today. You can BELIEVE all day long and not see anything happen. You can have FAITH in your heart, big DREAMS, stand on God’s promises and never see anything change. What’s the problem? Nothing happens until you SPEAK God’s Word. Instead of just believing you’re going to get out of debt, you’ve got to SAY so. DECLARE every day, “GOD is my provider. I AM coming out of debt. God is FAITHFUL to His Word, and He IS faithful to me!”

Today, make sure you are speaking what GOD speaks about you, your family and your future. DECLARE His Word and MEDITATE on it day and night. BELIEVE what God believes, SAY what He says, and SEE what He sees for every area of your life!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Genesis 1:3, KJV

……THEN GOD WILL OPEN NEW DOORS

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

ONCE YOU ARE PREPARED, THEN GOD WILL OPEN NEW DOORS

When the story of David and Goliath is told, some may think, “That was entirely God’s doing.” And to some extent, it was; however, God did not cast the stone. David also had a part to play. God bestowed upon David a skill which he needed to hone to be ready for that pivotal moment.

Similarly, God has endowed YOU with abilities so that you can conquer the giants in YOUR life. You possess talents that can unlock new OPPORTUNITIES, talents that can lead to a PROSPEROUS life, but it’s crucial that these talents are HONED. Each day you spend growing, learning, and improving is a step towards preparation for HIGHER levels.

While you await new opportunities today, take the time to refine your abilities. Observe your boss, learn from your manager, understand their role. Be ready to fill their shoes. When God sees you’re PREPARED, He will open NEW doors for you. Scripture says, “Your GIFTS will make room for you.” Continue to cultivate your skills, for you have the makings of a GIANT slayer within.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men.

Proverbs 18:16, NASB

AT SOME POINT, YOU HAVE TO STOP…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

AT SOME POINT, YOU HAVE TO STOP AND SAY, “GOD, I FIND REST IN YOU”.

In today’s world, most people are accustomed to constant activity: computers, cell phones, television, email, video games. While there’s nothing inherently wrong with these, the Bible advises us to pause and be still, focusing on knowing God, particularly during challenging times. When confronted with difficulties, it’s natural to seek out a friend or discuss it with a colleague. However, there comes a time when one must stop and declare, “God, I find rest in You. I trust that I am in Your care.”

It’s important to remember that our conflicts are spiritual battles. The issues we face are not caused by the people around us but by darker forces. By choosing to be still and recognizing the Greater One within, you position yourself in strength. Take time today to be still in His presence. Allow His peace to envelop you and His Spirit to rejuvenate you.

Keep in mind, the battles we encounter are the Lord’s. Remain still before Him to witness His victorious hand in every aspect of your life.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28, NIV

….TO LIGHT AND GUIDE OUR WAY…….

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD SEEKS TO LIGHT AND GUIDE OUR WAY

Scripture indicates that God desires to be our SUN and SHIELD. What role does the SUN play? It ILLUMINATES our path, WARMS us, and NOURISHES the earth’s plants, providing us with FOOD. Just as the earth relies on the SUN, God wishes to sustain US through our relationship with HIM. He aims to be our protective shield against the enemy’s fiery DARTS. He seeks to LIGHT and GUIDE our WAY.

Are you prepared to accept HIM as YOUR sun and shield today? Have you depended on OTHER things or PEOPLE for protection or guidance? If so, choose today to rely on your HEAVENLY Father. Open your heart and EMBRACE all that He offers. Accept His FAVOR, BLESSINGS, and PROTECTION today. Allow HIM to be your sun and shield, leading you to VICTORY every day of your life.

Today’s Scripture:

“For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.”

(Psalm 84:11, KJV)

GOD WANTS TO FREE YOU…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD WANTS TO FREE YOU FROM EVERYTHING THAT WOULD HOLD YOU BACK

Where the Spirit of the Lord resides, there is FREEDOM—GOD’S freedom, accessible to ALL. Your nationality, heritage, or family background are IRRELEVANT. Your financial STATUS doesn’t matter; God desires your liberation from ANYTHING that hinders your relationship with Him.

God is eager to bestow His abundant blessings on those who RESPECT Him and act JUSTLY. The Bible, in Galatians, states that in Christ, there is neither Jew nor Greek, male nor female. This signifies that God does not judge based on physical attributes but looks at your HEART and the talents HE has endowed you with.

Do NOT believe the adversary’s deception that God’s blessings are for others but not for YOU. Observe the blessings He is ALREADY providing in your life. Express GRATITUDE for His ACCEPTANCE, LOVE, and FREEDOM. By HONORING Him and pursuing righteousness, you will witness His blessings in EVERY aspect of your life.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“…God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.”

Acts 10:34-35, NIV

DEPEND ON GOD…….

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

DEPEND ON GOD, THERE’S NOTHING HE CAN’T DO

The best DECISION of your life was to live your life with GOD at the center. That was the ESSENTIAL first step to living at your FULL potential. Now the key to experiencing an EXTRAORDINARY life every day is to GROW in your relationship with God. In this Scripture, Jesus talks about how life with God is like a vine and its branches. When a branch is connected to the vine, it receives nourishment and LIFE. It’s able to produce fruit. In the same way, we have to stay connected to GOD so we can receive His STRENGTH and be EMPOWERED to accomplish all that He has for us. Jesus put it this way, “Without Me you can do NOTHING.”

So how do we stay CONNECTED? First, by ACKNOWLEDGING Him. By TALKING to Him. By READING and following His Word. See, when you acknowledge God, that’s a sign of HUMILITY. You’re saying, “God, I know You created the whole universe. You flung the stars into space. You tell every raindrop where to fall. I’m NOT here by accident. You breathed Your life into ME. You made me in Your image. You crowned me with Your FAVOR. God, I can’t DO this without You. I can’t make it on my own. I NEED You in my life.” When you show that kind of DEPENDENCY on God, there is NOTHING He won’t do for you. God will move heaven and earth to get you to where you’re supposed to be.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“…apart from me you can do nothing.”

John 15:5, NIV

TAKE TIME…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

TAKE TIME FOR GOD AT THE START OF EACH DAY

In Matthew 6, Jesus instructs to “Seek FIRST the kingdom of God.” The term “seek” carries significant WEIGHT, implying a crucial NECESSITY. Viewing time with God as ESSENTIAL to a successful life is IMPORTANT, as there may be mornings when one RESISTS waking early, reading the Bible, or attending church. However, establishing a routine reveals the benefits of feeling REFRESHED and RECHARGED, leading to better DECISIONS, increased CREATIVITY, and experiencing God’s FAVOR. This realization leads to the thought, “I can’t afford NOT to do it. Without time with GOD, something feels AMISS.” Missing church means lacking wisdom, clarity, direction, and the necessary ‘FIRE’ for the week.

The Bible’s directive to “seek first” suggests PRIORITIZING God at the day’s BEGINNING, not offering Him the remnants of our time. Integrating Him into our daily routine and making Him our foremost PRIORITY, seeking Him EARNESTLY, sets the stage for witnessing His work in OUR lives.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

In the night I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek you…

Isaiah 26:9, NLT
