IF YOU’RE GOING TO REACH YOUR BEST…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

IF YOU’RE GOING TO REACH YOUR BEST LIFE, YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE TO REMEMBER….

Isn’t it wonderful to reflect on the VICTORIES that Christ has bestowed upon us? In challenging times, when your aspirations seem unattainable, simply revisit and REPLAY those triumphs. RELIVE the moments when you felt trapped, yet God unveiled a NEW path. Recall how He positioned you PERFECTLY in time and place. Remember His PROTECTION during that near-miss accident. To surmount obstacles and achieve your fullest POTENTIAL, embracing remembrance is KEY. Continuously pondering God’s benevolence, His safeguarding, justification, and elevation of you, not only nurtures FAITH within your HEART but also cultivates an ANTICIPATORY spirit that paves the way for even GRANDER victories.

Today’s Scripture:

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph through Christ…

2 Corinthians 2:14, NASB

FIND NEW STRENGTH…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHEN YOU FORGIVE YOU WILL FIND NEW STRENGTH

Life does NOT come with a guarantee of fairness. Humans are fallible; we commit errors and make poor CHOICES. YOU might have suffered at the hands of others BEFORE, but what matters MOST is your RESPONSE to that pain. Clinging to PAST grievances and ANGER only inflicts damage on your OWN life. To maintain YOUR happiness and clear potential hurdles from your path, CHOOSE to FORGIVE others, regardless of whether they seek your pardon or NOT. God’s daily blessings and FAVOR, He indicates, hinge on YOUR readiness to forgive OTHERS. Forgiving EMPOWERS you with renewed VIGOR and paves the way for experiencing God’s abundant BLESSINGS.”

Today’s Scripture:

“But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions.”

Mark 11:26, NASB

A DAY OF ‘FRESH STARTS’…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

LET TODAY BE A DAY OF ‘FRESH STARTS’

When you entrusted your heart to Christ, you underwent a transformation INTERNALLY. This is the essence of being ‘born again.’ The Holy Spirit resides WITHIN you now. The transformation wasn’t external; it occurred in your SPIRIT. You might not FEEL any different, but Christians understand that their lives should not be governed by feelings, but rather by God’s DECLARATIONS. And HE proclaims in His Word that anyone who places their faith in Christ becomes a completely NEW individual. Whether you’ve been a Christian for several months or years, the FRESHNESS of being a Christian never FADES. Does your life still mirror the transformations that took place when YOU first believed? Let TODAY be a day for FRESH STARTS!

Today’s Scripture:

…Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

2 Corinthians 5:17, NLT

EXCELLING IN YOUR DAILY….

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

EXCELLING IN YOUR DAILY ROUTINE IS ANOTHER STRIDE TOWARDS ACHIEVING THE EXTRAORDINARY

The great figures of the Bible did not live out their lives performing heroic acts EVERY day. Instead, they spent the MAJORITY of their time much like YOU do, attending to everyday matters. Consider Noah’s life. The day the rain began to fall and he and his family hurried into the ark must have been MOMENTOUS for Noah. Likewise, the pinnacle of his life was likely when God safely led him and his family onto dry land after months aboard the ark. However, these remarkable events were BRIEF compared to the 120 long years Noah dedicated to CONSTRUCTING the ark. Throughout those ORDINARY days while building the ark, Noah maintained his steadfast FAITH, ensuring he was PREPARED when God chose to accomplish something EXTRAORDINARY through him. What extraordinary things does God intend to do through YOU? Excelling in today’s mundane ROUTINES is one more step towards uncovering God’s EXTRA-ordinary plans.

Today’s Scripture:

“I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

(Matthew 17:20, NIV)

GOD HAS BLESSINGS FOR YOU…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD HAS BLESSINGS FOR YOU THAT HE WANTS YOU TO PATIENTLY WAIT FOR

The world is a bustling place, demanding everything to be done in a way that suits individual preferences – immediately and tailored to personal lives. Many hold the belief that the world OWES them their desires, and it’s their RESPONSIBILITY to seize what they wish for. However, this is a misconception. Indeed, one must take ACTION and actively PARTICIPATE in life, but it’s also important to recognize that God has BLESSINGS intended for those who are willing to wait PATIENTLY. While one might meticulously PLAN out their entire life, it is ultimately GOD who guides our steps, NOT ourselves. SURRENDER to His will, remain PATIENT, and await the Lord’s blessings with FAITH.

Today’s Scripture:

In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.

Proverbs 16:9, NIV

GOD’S BEST IS MUCH BETTER…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD’S BEST IS MUCH BETTER THAN ANYTHING ELSE YOU COULD EVER INVEST YOUR TIME IN

God wants you to do things that have MEANING. But how do you know if you are using your time in the BEST way possible? One way to find out is to EVALUATE your life and see how you spend your time. It matters not only WHAT you do, but also WHO you do it with. The next step is PRUNING, which may be painful. Pruning is ESSENTIAL for healthy growth and for making sure that you grow in the right areas and DIRECTION. It may mean that you have to cut off some RELATIONSHIPS that are not bringing VALUE to your life. You should ask yourself, “How can I make more space in my life for God’s BEST?” God’s best is much BETTER than anything else that you could ever invest your time in. Prune your life to produce ALL that God has for you; the very BEST!

Today’s Scripture:

“Either make the tree good and its fruit good or make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for the tree is known by its fruit.”

Matthew 12:33, NASB

…THE GREATEST THING IN YOUR LIFE—LOVE

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

LOOK FOR WAYS TO DEVELOP THE GREATEST THING IN YOUR LIFE—LOVE

Spiritual maturity isn’t measured by how LONG you’ve been a Christian, how much you KNOW, or how often you go to CHURCH. Spiritual maturity is measured by the way you TREAT other PEOPLE. Are you KIND to the person working the checkout counter when the line is moving too slowly for you? Are you COURTEOUS when someone cuts you off in traffic? Are you PATIENT with your family and coworkers? The Bible tells us that love is PATIENT; it is KIND. It does NOT envy; it is not proud; it is not rude. Love is not easily angered, and it keeps NO record of wrong. Love NEVER fails. Notice that these characteristics don’t have ANYTHING to do with feelings. You can CHOOSE to walk in LOVE even when you don’t FEEL like it! Show KINDNESS and COURTESY to others. LOOK for ways to develop the GREATEST thing in your life—LOVE!

Today’s Scripture:

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13:13, NIV

NOT ONLY HAS GOD EQUIPPED YOU…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

NOT ONLY HAS GOD EQUIPPED YOU, BUT HE IS ALSO WORKING ON YOUR BEHALF

God has EQUIPPED you with everything you NEED to fulfill your destiny through His Word! The Scripture tells us that as BELIEVERS in Jesus Christ, God has placed His ANOINTING on us. The anointing is a divine EMPOWERMENT that ENABLES you to do what God has CALLED you to do. You are well able to accomplish your GOALS. You have the IDEAS, the CREATIVITY and TALENT to be SUCCESSFUL. The ANOINTING enables you to do what you could NOT do on your own, to accomplish DREAMS even though you don’t have the talent, and to OVERCOME obstacles that look insurmountable. You’ve been armed with STRENGTH for EVERY battle! The forces that are WITH you are greater than the forces that are against you! Not only has God EQUIPPED you, but He is also WORKING on your behalf. He has already lined up the right PEOPLE to come across your path. He’s already lined up the right BREAKS. You have EVERYTHING you need to live a VICTORIOUS life.

Today’s Scripture:

All Scripture is God-breathed…so that the man of God may be complete and proficient, outfitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.

(2 Timothy 3:16-17, AMP)

TODAY, TAKE OFF THAT OLD GARMENT…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

TODAY, TAKE OFF THAT OLD GARMENT OF HEAVINESS, AND PUT ON A NEW GARMENT OF ‘PRAISE’

Do you need a new garment today? I’m not talking about a physical garment. I’m talking about what’s covering your MIND and EMOTIONS. When you feel that heaviness and discouragement are trying to overtake you, the first thing to do is take off the old coat of heaviness and put on a NEW coat of PRAISE. When you put on the garment of praise, that spirit of heaviness HAS to go. Sometimes you won’t FEEL like being grateful. That’s why God says to offer up the SACRIFICE of PRAISE. God knew it would not always be EASY. You will have to dig your heels in and say, “God, I’m tired and discouraged, but I know YOU are good. You are good ALL the time, so I choose to give You PRAISE.” Today is the day for new GARMENTS! Thank Him for RESTORING you, even if you don’t SEE it yet. As this verse says, you will be called an oak of RIGHTEOUSNESS, STRONG and SECURE, and you will display the SPLENDOR of the Lord!

Today’s Scripture:

“Provide for those who grieve…a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.”

Isaiah 61:3, NIV

….. SHOW THE LOVE OF GOD

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO SHOW THE LOVE OF GOD

You are the hands and feet of Jesus in the earth. The Lord wants to BLESS you today so that you can be a blessing to OTHERS. He wants to work THROUGH you to show His LOVE and COMPASSION. Notice this verse tells us that LOVE isn’t just about our words or thoughts, it’s about our ACTIONS. Love is about REACHING OUT and meeting the needs of OTHERS. Sometimes meeting someone’s needs is as simple as a SMILE or sharing a word of ENCOURAGEMENT. There are many ways to show the love of God. Can you pay for someone’s gas or groceries? Do you see a need in someone’s life that YOU can meet? Look for ways to put your love into ACTION. The Bible says that it’s His KINDNESS that leads people to repentance, and the Lord wants to show His KINDNESS in the earth through YOU.

Today’s Scripture:

But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

1 John 3:17–18, ESV
