MAKE GOD’S WORD A PRIORITY…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

MAKE GOD’S WORD A PRIORITY AND YOU’LL EXPERIENCE MORE OF HIS BLESSINGS

Are you dealing with a situation that appears BLEAK today? As a BELIEVER, God assures that your path will become increasingly BRIGHT as you pursue His TRUTH and RIGHTEOUSNESS in EVERY circumstance. What does righteousness MEAN? Righteousness is being in right standing with GOD. It involves submitting your life to Him, OBEYING His commands, and seeking His plan for your LIFE each day. As you SEEK Him, the light of God’s Word will illuminate every DECISION you face. Regardless of what’s happening in your life right NOW, take a moment to ask the Lord to cast His LIGHT upon you. Request His confirmation of His PLAN for you. As you persist in seeking His TRUTH and RIGHTEOUSNESS, and as you continue to PRIORITIZE His WORD in your life, you will encounter more of His BLESSINGS. You will witness those brighter DAYS as you advance in the wonderful plan HE has prepared for you!

Today’s Scripture:

“The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day.”

(Proverbs 4:18, NLT)

HE IS RISEN, TODAY WE CELEBRATE EASTER…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

HE IS RISEN, TODAY WE CELEBRATE EASTER

Today, Easter is celebrated, marking the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Over two thousand years ago, a significant event took place at Calvary’s cross; ultimately, Jesus triumphed over sin and death, granting us an abundant life through Him. With Jesus, we can overcome anything that attempts to hinder us.

Regardless of the past bonds, strongholds, sins, or addictions that have imprisoned you, acknowledging Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior allows you to inherit His power—the power to move burdens and destroy yokes. Sin cannot restrain you because whom the Son liberates is truly free! (Refer to John 8:36.) This liberation begins with believing and accepting this promise. As you contemplate His Word and draw nearer to Him, His power increasingly manifests within you.

If you have not yet accepted Jesus as the Lord of your life, there is no better moment than now. Embrace His truth and life, and rejoice in the genuine, everlasting victory!

Today’s Scripture:

But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:57, NLT

GUIDANCE ON HOW TO LOVE…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

TODAY, PRAY FOR GUIDANCE ON HOW TO BETTER LOVE OTHERS. IT’S A CHOICE

We all encounter people who can be CHALLENGING at times, whether it’s a COLLEAGUE, a FAMILY member, or a SPOUSE. The Bible clearly DEFINES love in 1 Corinthians 13, describing it as PATIENT and KIND, not SELF-seeking, NOT keeping a record of wrongs, and never FAILING. This passage doesn’t focus on FEELINGS but on love as a deliberate CHOICE. You can CHOOSE to be patient and kind, even when you don’t FEEL like it. You can choose to treat someone WELL, even if they don’t seem to DESERVE it. You can decide to OVERLOOK an offense. Remember, the Holy Spirit is there to ASSIST us; we’re not MEANT to do this on our own. Pray for GUIDANCE on how to BETTER LOVE OTHERS today.

Today’s Scripture:

“Love never fails…”

1 Corinthians 13:8, NIV

IT MAY NOT BE GOOD NOW BUT, WAIT FOR IT….

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

IT MAY NOT BE GOOD NOW, BUT GOD KNOWS HOW TO BRING IT ALL TOGETHER

We observe GOOD FRIDAY annually, yet on the day Jesus was crucified, his disciples deemed it the WORST day ever. They would have called it “TRAGIC Friday.” The one they had dedicated their LIVES to was deceased and ENGOMBED. However, when Jesus RESURRECTED, they understood he was exactly who he CLAIMED to be. He had CONQUERED the adversary and delivered SALVATION to humanity. What they perceived as the WORST day turned out to be the BEST.

We all experience moments when DREAMS shatter, relationships DISSOLVE, or ILLNESS strikes—NOTHING seems positive. It might not be good NOW, but God can weave it into a GREATER plan. You may BELIEVE it will hinder you, regress you, and bring sorrow. Yet, if you maintain FAITH, you might one day reflect and RECOGNIZE that it was GOOD.

Today’s Scripture:

…with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among [the disciples] and said, “Peace be with you!”

John 20:19, NIV

WHAT AN HONOR AND A PRIVILEGE IT IS…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHAT AN HONOR AND A PRIVILEGE IT IS TO BE CALLED GOD’S FRIEND

The all-KNOWING, all-POWERFUL Creator of the universe desires your FRIENDSHIP today! He longs to WALK with you, CONVERSE with you, and simply share LIFE with you. This is the very reason He CREATED you—for His FELLOWSHIP. Opening your heart of FATH to Him is as simple as Abraham did.

The Bible states that God is a friend who remains CLOSER than a brother. This signifies His unwavering faithfulness and TRUTH. While PEOPLE may disappoint you, God will NEVER fail you. He will never leave you NOR forsake you. He is ALWAYS with you, always MINDFUL of you, and constantly THINKING of you.

To be called a friend of God is an IMMENSE honor and privilege. Allow this truth to deeply resonate in your heart today. Whenever you feel alone or misunderstood, boldly declare, “I am a friend of GOD!”

Today’s Scripture:

“And the scripture was fulfilled that says, ‘Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,’ and he was called God’s friend.”

James 2:23, NIV

BY STUDYING THE WORD…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

BY STUDYING THE WORD OF GOD, FAITH WILL INCREASE AND FEAR WILL VANISH

God desires to accomplish GREAT things in your life. Observe that the verse BEGINS with “do NOT fear.” Fear HINDERS the promises of God. The Bible teaches that anything not stemming from FAITH is SIN, a deviation from the INTENDED path. Never allow FEAR to influence the DECISIONS you make. If your choices are driven by FEAR, it will obstruct the BLESSINGS of the Lord in that aspect. OVERCOME fear by reflecting on God’s promises of LOVE and GOODNESS. Perfect love DISPELS all fear. Understanding God’s love means there is NOTHING to fear. You can be confident that the Lord will perform great DEEDS. Let this truth penetrate your SPIRIT today. Contemplate this verse and proclaim it loudly EVERY day. Through studying the Word of GOD, your faith will EXPAND, and fear will VANISH from your life. You will be FAMILIAR with His love and witness His goodness in EVERY facet of your life.

Today’s Scripture:

“Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.”

(Joel 2:21, KJV)

..TIME FOR JESUS…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

MAKE TIME FOR JESUS IN YOUR LIFE, TODAY…..

We can glean MUCH from the account of Jesus’ visit to Martha and Mary’s home. Martha was preoccupied with meal preparation, while Mary chose to sit and listen to Jesus’ TEACHINGS. Martha’s frustration led her to INTERRUPT Jesus, COMPLAINING about the UNFAIRNESS of her situation. Jesus’ response was ENLIGHTENING: “Martha, you are worried about many THINGS, but only ONE thing is NECESSARY, and Mary has CHOSEN it.” Essentially, Jesus advised Martha to PAUSE and cherish the time with HIM, a message that resonates with us even now.

The pandemic served as a global “time-out,” prompting reflection on what truly matters in life. It revealed that money is merely PAPER, rights are granted by OTHERS, and ultimately, JESUS is the custodian of LIFE, LIBERTY, and JOY. Above ALL, He is the gatekeeper to eternal LIFE. Don’t wait for another pandemic, make space for Jesus in YOUR life, TODAY!

Today’s Scripture:

“There is really only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it—and I won’t take it away from her!”

Luke 10:42, TLB

…..SPEND SOME TIME WITH YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

FOLLOW JESUS’ EXAMPLE AND SPEND SOME TIME WITH YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER

The daily pressures of life can often lead to unnecessary stress. Indeed, many individuals lose SLEEP over concerns about various things or PEOPLE in their lives. However, it is not God’s DESIRE for us to be consumed by stress and OVERWHELMED. HE wishes for us to lead lives filled with REST and PEACE.

When JESUS was on earth, He made time for HIMSELF. He DISTANCED Himself from the multitudes and spent time with the FATHER, finding REST. His heart was gentle and HUMBLE.

Have you ever observed that when you’re stressed or worried, your TOLERANCE for others DIMINISHES? You might say things you don’t INTEND. Today, consider entrusting your concerns to GOD and adopting a gentle and HUMBLE demeanor. By releasing your burdens and emulating JESUS, your soul will find REST. You’ll be REJUVINATED and REFRESHED, attaining PEACE in your heart, which enables you to embrace the ABUNDANT life God has PLANNED for you.

Today’s Scripture:

“Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

Matthew 11:29, NIV

…THE BLESSINGS GOD HAS GIVEN YOU…..

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

TAKE TIME TODAY TO THANK GOD FOR ALL OF THE BLESSINGS THAT HE HAS GIVEN YOU

Becoming a follower of Christ not only grants you eternal LIFE but also endows you with spiritual BLESSINGS. Scriptures affirm that we are endowed with every HEAVENLY blessing. These SPIRITUAL blessings include PEACE, JOY, FAVOR, ABUNDANCE, GRACE, and much MORE. You are gifted with earthly TALENTS and enriched with spiritual BLESSINGS.

Today, let this truth resonate within your spirit: God has endowed you with TALENTS, FULFILLMENT, FAVOR, and ABUNDANCE. You are blessed upon entering and upon leaving. You are graced with CONFIDENCE and ASSURANCE in the promises of your God. You are held SAFE and SECURE in the hand of Almighty God. Reflect on all the blessings God has bestowed upon you and express your GRATITUDE for them TODAY!

Ephesians 1:3, TLB

…..LIFE’S WORRIES AND STRESS…

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

LET GO OF LIFE’S WORRIES AND STRESS, HAND IT OVER TO JESUS

Jesus is known as the PRINCE of Peace, offering a peace that surpasses ALL understanding. This means we can experience peace even when it seems ILLOGICAL. We can find peace amidst turmoil and in the DARKEST hours. Maintaining a stance of PEACE equates to a stance of STRENGTH. We remain UNSHAKEN by life’s fluctuating winds and waves because our INTERNAL peace is not dependent on external CIRCUMSTANCES. When we turn to the Prince of PEACE, we can hand over our burdens and concerns. Scripture tells us His yoke is EASY, and His burden is LIGHT. Living in the manner God DESIGNED—filled with PEACE and JOY—means we bear His LIGHT load. Let GO of life’s worries and stress! In calling upon the Prince of PEACE, He becomes our SANCTUARY in times of trouble.

Today’s Scripture:

…and his name shall be called…The Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6, KJV
