THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD

Abraham is known as our father in the faith, but he had many obstacles coming against the promise of God in his life. God told him that he would be “the father of many nations,” but Abraham was over 90 years old before he ever saw that promise begin to come to pass. How many people today would look in the mirror and say, “No way; it’s just not happening.” But today’s scripture tells us that he didn’t consider his body. He didn’t meditate on all the reasons he couldn’t be the father of many nations. Instead, he considered the STRENGTH and ABILITY of his God!

Abraham KNEW God could make a way even when there seemed to be no way. He KNEW he served a FAITHFUL God, and so he gave all of the PRAISE and GLORY to Him! Scripture says his FAITH strengthened him and opened the door for God to move MIGHTILY on his behalf.

Today, what are you believing God for? Does it seem impossible? Has it taken a long time? Consider your God. Consider His WORD. Consider His FAITHFULNESS. Just like Abraham, let His Word STRENGTHEN you as you give glory to God. Keep BELIEVING, keep HOPING and let your FAITH open the way for VICTORY in EVERY area of your life!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

DON’T LET THE LITTLE THINGS IN LIFE, SPOIL THE HARVEST GOD HAS FOR YOUR FUTURE

Everyone has opportunities to get upset and be frustrated every single day. Sometimes it’s the little things—we can’t find the car keys, traffic is backed up, somebody was rude, or what should have taken an hour ends up taking four hours. Something happened and now you are frustrated and all bent out of shape. There will always be something that can sour your day, but if you are going to live in VICTORY, you have to maintain the right approach. You can’t let the little foxes spoil the vine. In other words, don’t let the little things in life, spoil the harvest God has for your future.

I’ve heard it said, “Life is 10% what happens TO you and 90% how you respond.” Make sure you respond to life with an attitude of FAITH and EXPECTANCY. Sure, things may irritate you, but don’t let that irritation last into the next moment. Let it go. Don’t try to control everything around you. Instead, release it to God knowing that His plans are for your GOOD, and He is LEADING and GUIDING you in the path of BLESSING.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

AS A BELIEVER, NO MATTER WHAT’S GOING ON AROUND YOU, YOU ALWAYS HAVE ACCESS TO JOY

God promises that JOY is found in His presence, and if you’ve accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then His presence lives inside of you. That means you are full of JOY! JOY manifests when you focus your mind and heart on the Father and begin to PRAISE Him. It doesn’t matter where you are or what’s going on around you, you can access the JOY that’s inside of you at ANYTIME, day or night. Know this: God wants you to experience His supernatural JOY and PEACE at ALL times. That’s why He chose to live INSIDE of you and give you an ENDLESS supply. Don’t waste another minute feeling overburdened and discouraged. Let the JOY of the Lord be your STRENGTH, and you will move forward in VICTORY on the path of life He’s prepared for you!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

DON’T LET THE PRECIOUS MOMENTS OF LIFE PASS YOU BY….

Have you stopped to consider that TODAY is a special gift from God? Sometimes, our days can be so full and busy that we forget how fragile life really IS. It can be easy to allow little things to creep in and STEAL our peace and joy. Maybe something doesn’t go our way, or someone says something upsetting. Even traffic can cause us to lose focus if we let it. We have to remember that each day is a GIFT. If we choose to focus on what’s wrong, we’ll miss the BLESSING that each day has to offer.

I encourage YOU today; don’t let the precious MOMENTS of life pass you by. Don’t wait for holidays and birthdays to show people that you care. Remember, each day is UNIQUE and IRREPLACEABLE. You have been given time that can be INVESTED or WASTED; hours that can be USED or MISUSED. That’s why the psalmist prayed to God, “Teach us to number our days.” He was saying, “Teach us to VALUE every moment we’ve been given.” As you DAILY keep a proper perspective, you’ll gain a heart of WISDOM. You’ll draw CLOSER to God and experience the FULL blessing that He has for you each and EVERY day!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

KEEP STANDING, BELIEVING, DOING THE RIGHT THING, YOU’RE OPENING YOURSELF TO GOD’S SUPERNATURAL STRENGTH

In the Bible, Joseph went through seasons of difficulty. He was rejected by his family, sold into slavery, lied about, mistreated, abandoned, falsely accused and thrown in jail. But through it all, Joseph NEVER GAVE UP. He kept pressing through and doing the right thing even though the wrong thing kept happening. The Bible says in Psalm 105 verse 18 that as Joseph lay in prison in those chains of iron, his soul entered into that iron. In other words, as Joseph just kept on fighting life through, his soul became as strong as that steel. God developed a supernatural strength in him that no one could take away.

If you are going through difficulty today, God wants to increase your STRENGTH. He wants to increase your POWER to OVERCOME. He wants to make your inner man as STRONG as steel. When you keep STANDING, keep BELIEVING, keep DOING the right thing, you are opening yourself to God’s SUPERNATURAL STRENGTH. That’s when you know you are GROWING in Him. Be strong today. Keep pressing forward because God is at work increasing strength in you so that you can have VICTORY in every area of your life!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

INSTEAD OF STAYING ON THE NEGATIVE CHANNEL, WHY NOT TRY SWITCHING OVER TO THE VICTORY CHANNEL

It’s interesting that our mind, will naturally gravitate toward the negative. A study showed how positive and negative memories are handled by different parts of the brain. A negative memory takes up more space. There’s more to process. Because of this, we will remember the negative more than the positive. For example, a person will remember losing $50 more than they will remember gaining $50.

Knowing this, we have to be PROACTIVE with our thoughts. When the negative memories come back to the movie screen of our mind, many people pull up a chair, get some popcorn and watch them all over again…..and AGAIN! No, the point is, that’s not the only channel! There’s another movie playing on a channel that’s filled with your ACCOMPLISHMENTS and SUCCESSES.

Instead of staying on that negative channel, you’ve got to switch over to your VICTORY channel. You’re not going to move forward into the NEW things God has in store, if you’re always replaying the negative things that have happened to you. Instead, learn to change the channel. Meditate on VICTORY and move forward in the victory and BLESSING God has in store for you!

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

OUR #1 PRIORITY SHOULD BE, SPENDING TIME WITH GOD

When we have rock-solid FAITH, we won’t be moved by what’s happening around us. We have PEACE in our hearts and minds because our HOPE is in God. We have an ATTITUDE that says: “I’m not moved by this medical report. I respect and honor people that are trying to help me, but I know God can do what medical science cannot do. God made my body.” “I’m not moved by the economy, the stock market, my job situation. I know God supplies ALL of my needs. He promised He would PROSPER me even in a recession.” “I’m not moved by how my children are acting. I’m not stressed out because they’re off course, making poor choices. I know it’s only a matter of TIME. As for me and MY house, we WILL serve the Lord.”

Friend, that’s unshakeable FAITH. That’s building your house on a rock-solid FOUNDATION. When the storms of life come, you won’t be moved. How do you stay rock solid? By MEDITATING on the Word of GOD and following HIS commands. It’s that simple. Instead of making your circumstances the focus, you make GOD the FOCUS and stand strong and SECURE in HIM! Today, make spending time with God your number one PRIORITY and learn to stay rock solid in Him!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

BE STRONG, AND BE OF GOOD COURAGE

With God on your side, there is nothing to be afraid of. No matter how big that enemy LOOKS, GREATER is He that is in you than ANYTHING that comes against you. REFUSE to give up, refuse to fall into fear, refuse to let it overwhelm you. When you have this WARRIOR mentality, this “I CAN handle it” attitude, all the forces of darkness cannot keep you from your destiny.

Remember, the enemy doesn’t have the final say; GOD has the final say. And when you put your FAITH and TRUST in Him, He says, ‘I will ALWAYS cause you to TRIUMPH.” Be STRONG and be of good COURAGE. Keep God first place in your life and move forward in CONFIDENCE knowing that He is working things out for your good.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WE ARE THE TEMPLE, AND GOD CHOOSES TO LIVE INSIDE OF US

When God sent His Son to earth, He opened the door of salvation to WHOEVER would BELIEVE. That means ANYONE can become a child of His and have EVERLASTING life!

Before Jesus came, people had to observe MANY laws in order to be considered holy enough to go into God’s temple. They were constantly performing sacrifices to pay for their sins just so they could be around the PRESENCE of God. Even then, their sins were only COVERED up. They were still THERE. But when JESUS came, He was the FINAL sacrifice. His blood doesn’t just COVER our sins; it washes them AWAY! Now, instead of going to the temple to be NEAR God, the Bible says we ARE the temple, and He chooses to live INSIDE of us. Today, THANK God for the FREE gift of SALVATION.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

TRUST GOD’S TIMING AND TRUST THAT YOUR ANSWER IS ON THE WAY

Are you feeling discouraged about something you’ve been asking God for? FOCUS on the fact that through FAITH and PATIENCE, you WILL see God’s promises come to pass in your life. Understand that the enemy always fights the hardest when he knows you are CLOSEST to your breakthrough. He’d leave you alone if he thought you were going to live in mediocrity. If you keep pressing on toward your promise, through faith and patience, you WILL get there.

Don’t be like the Israelites in the Old Testament who were right next to the Promised Land when they talked themselves out of it. They said, “There are giants in the land. It’s too difficult.” No, don’t look at the obstacles in your life today. Lift UP your eyes because you serve Almighty GOD. Follow the example of Abraham who BELIEVED God even when his circumstances looked impossible. Remember, God REWARDS the people who seek after Him. Stand in FAITH and keep BELIEVING as you press toward the promise. TRUST His Word, trust His TIMING, and trust that your answer IS on its way!
