YOU ARE GOD’S REPRESENTATIVE, HONOR HIM IN ‘ALL’ THAT YOU DO

What do you do to HONOR God? A lot of times people think, “I go to church to honor God. I read my Bible to honor God. I sing and clap in worship to honor God.” And yes, those are ways to honor God, but did you know that you honor God just as much when you get to WORK on time? You honor God when you are PRODUCTIVE each day and honor the PEOPLE in authority over you. You honor God when you excel in your CAREER. ACTIONS speak louder than words. When you give your VERY BEST in the workplace, your WHOLE LIFE is giving PRAISE to God. Showing up with a good ATTITUDE, being FRIENDLY, ORGANIZED, just being your BEST—people will notice there’s something DIFFERENT about you. They’ll want what YOU have. As BELIEVERS, we should set the standard in ALL areas of life. People should see the depth of your CHARACTER and your spirit of EXCELLENCE and KNOW that you are a child of the Most High God. Make the decision to HONOR Him in ALL that you do because YOU are His REPRESENTATIVE in the earth today!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

SEARCH FOR THE GOOD THINGS GOD HAS GIVEN YOU

All around you, God’s GOODNESS is on display. The question is, do you SEE it? The Scripture talks about how God was in the midst of people, but they knew Him NOT. Too many times, God is working in our lives, showing us FAVOR, PROTECTING us, sending us HEALING, but we don’t RECOGNIZE His goodness. For example, if you weren’t the most qualified or the most talented but you got the PROMOTION, that’s the goodness of GOD. If you’re going through a difficult time and a friend stops by out of the blue and cheers you up, that’s the GOODNESS of God. It’s easy to see the negative, what we don’t have, what we didn’t get, but that won’t build our FAITH. Instead, make a decision to SEARCH for the good things God HAS given you. His MERCY is new EACH morning. Look for His GOODNESS, His FAVOR today!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD DOESN’T WANT TO SEE YOU SETTLING FOR ANYTHING LESS THAN HIS VERY BEST

When you look out into your FUTURE, what do you see? What are the DREAMS and DESIRES that you hold close to your heart?

So many people start with BOLD dreams, but then opposition comes. Life doesn’t turn out the way THEY planned. They lose a loved one or encounter difficulty they didn’t anticipate. Today, if that’s you, I want to remind you that the Creator of the universe designed you with specific GIFTS and TALENTS that no one else has. He has you on this planet for a specific PURPOSE. When you commit your life to HIM, He PROMISES to be with you WHEREVER you go. Even though some things in life may have caught YOU by surprise, they didn’t catch GOD by surprise. His GOOD plan for your life remains. You can trust Him because He LOVES you with an EVERLASTING love, and He doesn’t want to see you settling for anything less than His very BEST.

I want to encourage you to be BOLD, be STRONG and be COURAGEOUS. Put ASIDE the past and lift up your eyes to JESUS. He is the Author and Finisher of your FAITH. Live BOLDLY and DREAM boldly so you can embrace the GOOD things He has in store for YOU!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

MAKE PLANS TO START YOUR DAY RIGHT. PUT GOD FIRST PLACE

It’s amazing how taking a few minutes at the start of each day to plan and set your thoughts in the right DIRECTION can help you get AHEAD. But too often, people get so caught up in the activity of life that they tend to just “go with the flow” instead. Of course, I’m not saying we shouldn’t be FLEXIBLE, but when it comes to your life, YOU should be the one setting the flow. Of course, unexpected things happen. Our days won’t ALWAYS go according to plan, but if you’ll take time each day to set your HEART and MIND in the right direction, you’ll be EQUIPPED for WHATEVER comes your way! Make plans to start your day RIGHT and set your THOUGHTS in the right direction. Put God FIRST PLACE. Even if it’s just five minutes a day, make spending time with HIM a HABIT.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD HAS EQUIPPED YOU FOR THIS JOURNEY

Do you ever feel like every time you try to move FORWARD in something, you hit a roadblock, or something happens that throws you OFF COURSE? Be ENCOURAGED today because God is going BEFORE you! You may be going through a difficult time right now, but it’s NOT the end. It’s only the BEGINNING, and God has EQUIPPED you for this journey!

Keep speaking words of FAITH because God promises to anoint your head with oil. He’ll cause your cup to run over. That means when you SEEK Him, you’ll be REFRESHED and ANOINTED to do what He’s CALLED you to do.

What do you need today to keep moving FORWARD? Start by checking your ATTITUDE. Don’t go around complaining and focused on the negative side of things. Instead, put on an attitude of PRAISE and THANKSGIVING. THANK Him for making your crooked places STRAIGHT.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GOD WANTS TO ACCELERATE YOU TO LEVELS BEYOND IMAGINATION…..

God is able to do EXCEEDINGLY, ABUNDANTLY above and BEYOND all we could EVER imagine! Think about that for a moment. God wants to take you far and BEYOND what you’ve ever dreamed. He wants to ACCELERATE you this year which means He can bring you into OPPORTUNITIES that will boggle your mind. He can make your career TAKE OFF like a rocket. He can cause you to meet the RIGHT PEOPLE who will help further your dreams. He can launch you forward more QUICKLY than you could have imagined! He can bring you out of debt and cause you to pay that house off even though it LOOKED impossible. You’re going to GET WELL even though the medical report says there’s no way.

Things may be dark and gloomy around you, but keep your head held HIGH. You have an ADVANTAGE. You are a child of the Most High God. His face is shining down on you. God is saying that it’s NOT going to be an average year. It’s not going to be a barely-get-by year. NO, you need to get ready because it’s going to be a year of FAVOR, a year of INCREASE, a year of ACCELERATION!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

YOU ARE WELL ABLE TO DO WHATEVER GOD HAS CALLED YOU TO DO

Friend, no matter what your circumstances may look like TODAY, God’s PLAN is to bring you through to a place of ABUNDANCE. He wants you to have an abundance of PEACE, an abundance of JOY, an abundance of RESOURCES—He wants you to OVERFLOW with His blessings so that you can be a blessing to the people AROUND you.

If you want to live in the OVERFLOW of God’s blessings, you have to have an ATTITUDE to receive the overflow. Remember, as a believer in Jesus, you are a child of the Most High God. ROYAL BLOOD is flowing through your veins. You were NOT created to be average. You were not created to barely get by and DRAG through life. You have seeds of GREATNESS on the inside. You are well able to do WHATEVER God has CALLED you to do!

Today, put your shoulders back, hold your head up HIGH and start thinking like a VICTOR. When you’re a victor, you know that ANY adversity in your life is not permanent; it’s TEMPORARY. Have the attitude to RECEIVE the overflow of God’s abundance. Keep BELIEVING and keep EXPECTING because it’s just a matter of time until He turns things around in YOUR FAVOR!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

THE ANSWER TO EVERY SITUATION WE FACE IS ADDRESSED IN GOD’S WORD

No matter what decisions you may be facing today, God wants to EQUIP you and EMPOWER you to make the RIGHT choices. Today’s verse tells us that seeking WISDOM and DISCRETION brings life and is “an ornament of grace.” How do we seek wisdom and discretion? By making the Word of God a PRIORITY. The answer to EVERY situation we face is addressed in God’s Word either directly or by PRINCIPLE. When God’s Word is the FINAL authority in your life, His grace will empower you to live VICTORIOUSLY.

Verses 23 through 26 go on to say, “Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the LORD will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared.”

Today, I encourage YOU to put God’s Word first. Ask the Holy Spirit to GUIDE you as you study. FOLLOW His commands and open the way for His GRACE to COVER you. Let His grace EMPOWER you to dwell in SAFETY and rest SECURELY all the days of your life!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

STOP WORRYING AND START TRUSTING GOD

Does your soul need REFRESHING today? God is constantly inviting us to step away from the hectic pace of life and come to HIM to find REST for our souls. Are you facing challenges in your relationships? Finances? Career? God wants to REFRESH you. He wants to give you REST. Think about that for a moment. What would CAUSE you to rest? If you knew everything was going to work out for your GOOD, you would STOP worrying. You would REST! Even if things don’t work out the way YOU planned or on your TIMETABLE, you can TRUST that God will turn things around in your FAVOR. TODAY, make it a point to BE STILL before God. QUIET your mind of all the things on your agenda and just focus on HIM. Let Him LOVE you, let Him speak to your HEART, and let Him fill you with PEACE and STRENGTH each and EVERY day??.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHEN YOU’RE LOYAL, YOU’RE A PERSON OF INTEGRITY

Have you ever noticed that RIGHTEOUSNESS and LOYALTY go together? In other words, if we’re not being LOYAL—to our FAMILY, FRIENDS, COUNTRY, JOY—then we aren’t going to EXPERIENCE God’s BEST. LOYAL people are HONORABLE people. When you’re loyal, you STICK with someone through thick and thin. When you’re LOYAL, you keep your WORD to people—even if you get a “better” offer.

Loyal people are RESPECTFUL of their COUNTRY and LEADERS. Loyal people HONOR their parents and DEFEND their family. When you’re LOYAL, you are a person of INTEGRITY. You build TRUST with others. Is this an area where you can rise HIGHER? Are you FAITHFUL in the things you’re COMMITTED to? Can you be MORE loyal? Don’t let the distractions of everyday life keep you from being DEDICATED. Look for ways to show HONOR to those around you. Is there something you need to set aside for the sake of a loved one? Show LOVE by staying LOYAL. As scripture promises, when you pursue LOYALTY and RIGHTEOUSNESS, you WILL find the ABUNDANT life God has PLANNED for you!
