WHEN YOU’RE CONTENT, YOU SEE EACH DAY AS A GIFT

God has ordained SEASONS and CYCLES in our lives. Sometimes, when our dreams aren’t coming to pass on OUR timetable, we can be tempted to get frustrated. But we have to be careful not to allow our ATTITUDE to keep us from moving forward. Understand that in God’s kingdom, every season is not harvest. Every season is not springtime, with beautiful flowers, gorgeous sunshine and cool breezes. There are PLOWING seasons, PLANTING seasons and WATERING seasons. Sure, we would love for every season to be a time of increase, but without the other seasons, we wouldn’t be prepared for PROMOTION. You have to choose to rejoice TODAY. God has given you not only the GRACE to endure this season but to ENJOY the season. When you’re CONTENT, you see each day as a GIFT, appreciate the PEOPLE in your life, and are grateful for what God has GIVEN you. That is not only developing your CHARACTER, but you’re passing the TEST. You will come out of winter and into your SPRINGTIME.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

COURAGE AND CONFIDENCE COME FROM A RELATIONSHIP WITH ALMIGHTY GOD

When trials and tribulations come, as children of God, we can take COURAGE; we can be CONFIDENT, and we can have perfect peace. Why? Because perfect peace doesn’t come from the world. Courage doesn’t come from the world and neither does confidence. These things come from a relationship with Almighty God. We can have HOPE in challenging times because God has promised us SUCCESS. As long as we stay in FAITH, as long as we put our trust and hope in God, we will stay in VICTORY.

No matter what you are facing today, remember, FAITH pleases God and opens the door for His supernatural FAVOR, STRENGTH and WISDOM. Don’t settle for defeat because you’re PREPROGRAMMED for SUCCESS. Choose to thank Him for what He is doing in your life and for the VICTORY that is on the way. Be STRONG, be BOLD and take COURAGE today because God has ALREADY overcome the world!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

DON’T WASTE YOUR ENERGY ON THE WRONG PURPOSES

Do you realize how much emotional energy it takes to hold a grudge, to live with unforgiveness, anger, bitterness, jealousy and guilt? We only have a certain amount of ENERGY for each day. If we use it for the WRONG purposes, focused on the negative, DWELLING on who hurt us, we’re not going to have the energy we need for the RIGHT purposes. We’re not going to make the best DECISIONS. We’re not going to be as CREATIVE. We’re not only doing OURSELVES a disservice, but we’re doing our FAMILY and our FRIENDS a disservice. Remember, YOU can’t control what people do or say. You can only control YOURSELF. If you’re allowing others to upset you, you are giving away your POWER. The Scripture says, “Don’t let the sun go down on your anger.” The reason many people have no JOY or ENTHUSIASM is because they go to bed every night with anger and unforgiveness. When you go to bed like that, you’ll wake up with that same anger and frustration. Don’t let anger and unforgiveness block God’s BLESSING in your life. CHOOSE to let those things go so you can live in the PEACE, JOY and POWER the Lord has for you.

WHERE THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS, THERE IS FREEDOM

When you make JESUS the Lord of your of life, something supernatural takes place on the INSIDE of you. The Spirit of God actually makes His home in your heart. And the Bible tells us that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is FREEDOM! When you allow that truth to sink into your mind and heart, when you get into AGREEMENT with God and begin to declare that you are FREE, you will see that freedom MANIFEST in every area of your life. God will begin to turn around SITUATIONS that you’ve been praying about for years. He’ll restore RELATIONSHIPS that you thought were impossible. He’ll bring HEALTH and WHOLENESS back into your body. Those DREAMS, those PROMISES that are on the inside of you may look too big, but God will set you FREE to PURSUE those dreams. He’ll set you UP to OVERCOME every obstacle. He’ll EMPOWER you to DEFEAT every enemy so that you can move forward in FREEDOM and VICTORY in every area of your life!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHEN YOU CHOOSE GOD’S PLAN, YOUR FINAL CHAPTER CONCLUDES WITH YOU FULFILLING YOUR DESTINY

Did you know that God has ALREADY recorded every part of your life from the beginning to the end? He knows every disappointment, every loss, every challenge; and the good news is that with Christ, your story ends in VICTORY! God has written out a plan to BLESS and PROSPER you. When you choose HIS plan, your final chapter concludes with you fulfilling your God-given DESTINY. Here’s the key: when you go through a disappointment, when you go through a loss, don’t stop on THAT page in your life. You’ve got to DECIDE to keep moving FORWARD. There’s another chapter in front of you, but you’ve got to be willing to take the next step.

Sometimes, we get so focused on what DIDN’T work out that we stay stuck, RELIVING the disappointment. If that’s you, recognize that you’ve been on that page long enough. It’s time to LET IT GO and turn the page to the NEW chapter God has in store. You may not UNDERSTAND, it may not have been FAIR, but REMEMBER, the NEXT chapter is full of BLESSING, full of FAVOR, and full of VICTORY! Make the decision to LET GO of the old so you can move forward into the ABUNDANT life God has in store for you!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

GODS ANOINTING MAKES THINGS EASIER

In the Bible, oil is symbolic of the ANOINTING of God. Do you know what oil does? It makes things flow. Whenever there is friction or something gets stuck, putting oil on it makes it become more fluid. That’s what God wants to do for YOU. He wants to ANOINT your head with oil. When He does that, notice what David says in Psalm 23, “Because God anoints me, because I walk in His FAVOR; surely, GOODNESS and MERCY will follow me EVERYWHERE I go.”

Friend, God’s anointing makes things EASIER. People will go out of their way to be good to you for no reason! You’re going to have CREATIVITY, WISDOM and good IDEAS. God’s anointing on your life will cause the right DOORS to open. It will bring the right PEOPLE across your path. It will make things go smoother. And the good news is, all you have to do is ASK Him for it. Remember, He LONGS to be good to you. You can trust that His anointing will make things EASIER, and He will lead you into the ABUNDANT life He has in store for you!

KNOW THIS: NO MATTER WHAT, GOD WANTS TO MAKE YOU NEW. HE’LL GIVE YOU A FRESH START…..

When God puts a DREAM or a PROMISE on the inside of you, He deposits within you EVERYTHING you need to accomplish it. He wouldn’t give you the desire to do something without giving you the ABILITY to fulfill it. In fact, the scripture tells us that GOD gives us the desires of our heart. In other words, HE puts the desire inside of us and then works WITH us to bring it to pass.

Oftentimes, people set out to accomplish their DREAMS, but they face a setback or disappointment, and then they feel like their time has passed. But know this: no matter WHERE you’ve come from, no matter WHAT’S happened in your past, God wants to make you NEW. He wants to give you a FRESH START. If you feel like you’ve missed OPPORTUNITIES in your life, if you feel like your time has passed, remember, today is a NEW day. You are a NEW person, and God has NEW OPPORTUNITIES in store for you!

AS YOU DECLARE GOD’S WORD, YOU WILL SEE HIS HAND MOVING ON YOUR BEHALF

In Genesis, we read that God SPOKE the world into existence. His WORDS produced life and are continuing to produce life TODAY. Aren’t you grateful for the POWER in God’s Word? Because of God’s WORD, we can have life in eternity and live in STRENGTH and VICTORY over EVERY obstacle that comes against us here on earth! Today you have access to LIFE, STRENGTH and VICTORY in the Word of God. The Bible says in Job 22:28 that what you DECLARE shall be ESTABLISHED. When you declare God’s Word, you ESTABLISH it in your life. You activate its POWER. Make it a habit to declare God’s Word over your life DAILY. Declare that NO weapon formed against you will prosper. Declare that you are MORE than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. Declare that His FAVOR and BLESSING are upon you because you follow His commands. As you DECLARE His Word, you will see His hand moving on your behalf. You’ll experience His POWER to live in VICTORY in EVERY area of your life!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

KEEP PRAYING, BECAUSE THE PRAYERS OF THE RIGHTEOUS AVAIL MUCH

Paul was writing these words while he was in chains in prison. He was arrested for preaching the gospel. Everything in his surroundings shouted “LIMITATIONS,” but instead of looking at his surroundings, Paul kept his eyes on the LIMITLESS God. He kept looking for the open door of OPPORTUNITY that God would have for him next. Since he couldn’t go out and speak publicly, Paul thought, “No problem. I’ll start writing.” He wrote book after book, almost half of the books of the New Testament, much of it from a prison cell. They thought they were stopping him, but they were doing just the opposite, causing his voice to become amplified. Here we are some 2,000 years later, and we still feel Paul’s INFLUENCE. When doors look closed all around you, when your surroundings LOOK limited, when you feel like you’re in chains, remember, God is still at work in your life. Keep EXPECTING. Keep BELIEVING. Pray for OPPORTUNITIES to be opened to you. The prayer of the righteous avails MUCH, so keep praying because He promises to break the chains and open doors of OPPORTUNITY in your life.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

WHEN GOD SHOWS UP, THE ENEMY MUST FLEE

What an amazing PRIVILEGE we have to enter boldly into God’s throne of grace through Jesus. We have access to Him 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! But notice that today’s verse tells us that we shouldn’t just come to Him any old way. We shouldn’t come empty-handed to the King of kings and the Lord of lords. What do we have to give that’s worthy of Almighty God? Our PRAISE. Our THANKSGIVING. Our WORSHIP. We should always enter His gates with an offering of ADORATION from our hearts. Praise isn’t just about singing songs in church. Praise is the expression of GRATEFULNESS to God for Who He is and all that He has DONE. Praise is a powerful TOOL in the life of the believer because God inhabits the praises of His people! When we enter His presence the right way, He enters our CIRCUMSTANCES; and when GOD shows up, the enemy MUST flee! Today, enter into His gates with thanksgiving and open the door for Him to move on YOUR behalf!
